“Comfortable, central and quiet hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2013

Booked this through internet and it was a very good choice. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and cosy rooms (newly renovated but in old style). Good breakfast. Nice backyard where you can relax and I guess can have breakfast when weather allows (we were in March - still cold). Many of the historical attractions are in walking distance.
Would go there again and recommend this definitely to others.

Room Tip: This is quite a small hotel, maybe 15 rooms in 2 different buildings. Rooms are not identical; actua...

The breakfast for starters was amazing, when I got back from traveling around Turkey I stayed there a second time and they gave a free upgrade which I deeply appreciated. The service was very home like, the fact that the hotel is very small makes it very cozy.

We thoroughly enjoed our stay at the hotel. This was a family holiday and most of us were meeting after 2 years and I couldn't have picked a better place to relax with my family. The hotel was small yet comfortable. The staff were excellent and gave us good guidance. Our room had a nice balcony and from within gave the feel of Turkey. The food in the restaurant was good too. I don't have anything bad to say about the hotel. We stayed for 4 nights from the 12th Feb 2013 - 16th of Feb 2013. I was also impressed with the free biscuits and cakes in the lounge area. I think more hotels should adopt this.

All the positives other people have commented on are true! The hotel is comfortable, clean, pretty quiet, easy walking distance from the sites, great breakfast and wonderful, helpful, friendly, accommodating staff.

This was our first stay in Istanbul and we chose this hotel based on location/cost and review and were every pleased with our choice. The hotel is on a multi level and our room overlooked the restaurant and garden. The room was fairly large with complementary wine and fruit. the place has a homely feel to it and the staff are very courteous and helpful.
It was a bit difficult to find by foot among the myriad of streets of this area, but it a short walk from all the major attractions especially impressive being the Grand Biazzar.

We stayed here with my mom for 9 days (2-10 february 2013) in 111 room. What can I say... Hotel perfectly located - 5 minutes to hippodrome, around 10 minutes walking to all the major destinations (Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Topkapi Palace). 15 minutes walk to Sultanahmet tram station.
Our room was very elegant (you can see our photos). We were greeted with bottle of wine and basket of fruits.
All the stuff was very friendly, helpful and smiling. On arriving we were immediately informed about the best ways to get to all the destinations, we wanted to visit (manager even gave us good city map).
Breakfast was super! There were fruits, cheese, breads, cakes, juice, corn flakes with dried fruits; also olivas and pickled pepper, omelette which you can order with cheese, onion or salami.
24 hours there are free delicious cakes, tea and coffee in the lobby. It was nice in the evenings.
Actually, we felt like home...
When we will be back to Istanbul, we will surely stay in this wonderful hotel!
