“Overall very nice!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2012

I was cautious in the beginning due to the fact that I had expected a bigger room, since I had read on booking.com that this would be 22m2. The so called Deluxe Double Room was about 15m2, but this cannot change the overall impression of the hotel as we had the best time there. The staff gets the highest score, as they were really polite, helpful, and made you feel at home. The room was cleaned every day, the towels were changed every day, nice breakfast on the sixth floor teracce. A minor disadvantage would be the lack of adequate sound insulation between the rooms or floor levels. We could hear the drainage noise as if someone was using our bathroom.
The location is absolutely great. The tram stop is just one minute away although we could walk to the most important sites.
I totally recommend this hotel to everyone who visits the city.

The hotel is conveniently located near the historical sights like blue mosque, topkapi, hagia sophia, hippodrome, basilica cistern, grand bazaar
Staff is very courteous and extremely supportive in guiding you in and around istanbul. Rooftop Breakfast spread is good. Rooms are clean and well maintained.
Could'nt get internet coverage in the second floor. Other than that the stay was extremely pleasant.
Special mention of Omar and the manager Yilmaz!!!
Would definitely stay in the same hotel during another visit to Istanbul.

We stayed at Noahs Ark hotel at the end of August and had a lovely five night stay. We were able to get a family room for the five of us and the location is at the heart of Sultanahmet a few minutes walk from all the must see attractions, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace etc (if you are a tourist ofcourse), with an array of nearby restauarants to choose from. A typical turkish buffet breakfast was provided on the rooftop which made a lovely change. The room was always found lovely and clean, with clean towels and the staff and manager were very friendly and extremely helpful all you had to do was ask. Very happy with our choice of hotel. Thank you to all the staff for your help.

This was my first trip to Istanbul. My cousin who is a travel agent selected this hotel for me and I never read a review about it. When I reached Istanbul, my experience starting from shuttle service, hotel staff, room cleanliness, breakfast and guidance about ity tours was excellent. The location of the hotel is one of the best in Istanbul. When I came back I thnked my cousin and my whole family is happy and still some time remember the moments of our stay at hotel

Little hotel, in the old Istanbul (Sultanhamet district). The entrance to the hotel (a port only) and the lobby are very very small. To go to the only lift (3 people) there is a double scale very uncomfortable. The suite (one big standard room!!) at the 5th floor, it's very quiet during the night, but it's under the breakfast room and from 7.30 in the morning you hear annoying noises. Room and bathroom are very clean. Breakfast is good with views over the rooftops where you can see partially Blue Mosque. The hotel is located (by walking) near the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi, Grand Bazaar, spice Bazaar and other old historic monuments. The staff is very caring and willing to solve any request. If you have included the transfer from the airport, ask confirmation for come back.

Room Tip: the fifth floor have big noise in the morning

Stayed at Noahs Ark hotel with family twice during our stay in Istanbul recently and had good experience. The place is located close to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Topkapi palace. It's walking distance from Grand Bazaar and Spice Bazaar. Rooms are decent sized, clean and well done. Breakfast is pretty good. Staff is friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed at Noah's Ark for 4 nights in October. The complimentary shuttle from the airport was a lifesaver after a long international flight.

The room was unexpectedly large and spacious (especilaly compared to other European hotels.)
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was also very good.

Finally, the location is great - just near the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and walking distance to the Palace and Grand Bazaar. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
