“Gem in the Old City”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2013

Stayed here for four nights. The staff couldn't be more welcoming & helpful!! The location is perfect for exploring the old city and just around the corner from the Four Seasons at four times the price. The hotel is located on a busy street with other hotels and restaurants, a really fun area of the city to stay in. The rooms are pleasant, comfortable and a good value.
We would definitely stay here again!!

Room Tip: Choose either the room on the ground floor or one in the back to avoid street noise. No elevator.

I cannot say enough about how well we were treated at the Millennium Suites. The service was impeccable. Our rooms were delightful, clean, and very comfortable. The location could not have been better. When (not if) I return to Istanbul, I will not consider staying anywhere but the Millennium Suites. The overall experience was superb. Thanks again to Alper, Taner, and the rest of the staff.

Traveled to Istanbul on my way back from Macedonia and decided to spend 2 days recovering from work. After reading reviews, I booked two rooms for my business parter and myself through TripAdvisor. Reservations were made easily.

At arrival, check in was warm and efficient. A bellman carried our bags to our respective rooms and in perfect English explained all the details. The room and bathroom were large and very well furnished. The entire property was immaculately clean. Towels and linens were first rate. The Internet was fast and FREE. The flat screen TV carried all the major international channels. There was a small refrigerator in the room with complementary water, soda, and beer.

Breakfast was served on a daily basis with an excellent selection of pastries, bread, rolls, cheese, cereal, breakfast meats, coffee, tea, and freshly squeezed orange juice, along with eggs cooked to order. There was no extra charge for breakfast.

The location of the hotel is close to shopping, dining, and the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, and Topkapi Palace, along with many other sites. The hotel manager arranged for an excellent private English speaking tour guide (expensive but WELL worth the indulgence), along with transportation to and from the airport.

Check out was warm and friendly.

Room Tip: All the rooms are good rooms.

We have recently returned from a short break holiday in Istanbul and thoroughly recommend Millennium Suites as a great base for exploring the Old Town. The hotel is within walking distance of all of the major sights enabling you to absorb more of the local atmosphere as you amble from one wonderful building to another. All of the hotel staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our room was spacious and delightfully decorated. We were a little concerned at first to find that our room was at the front of the hotel overlooking the busy street below but the thick curtains and double glazing negated the potential noise and with our comfortable, super king sized bed we slept well! The selection of dishes for breakfast was good and the atmosphere in the dining area relaxed. This is a little gem of a hotel in a beautiful city.

Picked this one purely because of the reviews and was not disappointed. Arrived to a very warm welcome by Tanor and was instantly offered refreshing drinks outside together with maps and information. We had a choice of rooms as we were the first to check in on that particular day so took the room with the large terrace (at no additional cost). It was a delightful room with everything well prepared (including air con that worked efficiently) and the terrace was an added bonus decorated with lovely flowers and pots. Breakfast was well laid out with a vast choice catering for all tastes. All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel as a great base for exploring the magical sights of Istanbul.

What can I say about Millennium Suites other than it lives up to its reviews. My friend and I arrived there in May 2013 after a hectic coach tour around Turkey looking forward to a few relaxing and comfortable days in Istanbul. . We were thrilled as it certainly exceeded our expectations.

The location is fantastic, on a lovely cobble stoned street with restaurants and shops all around. It is in walking distance to the Blue Mosque and other major sights and also the tram stop for sights further afield. Alper and his staff are wonderful and make you feel like you are staying in a home away from home. Nothing it too much trouble. The rooms and lovely and spacious with every amenity you need for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend it and am hoping that I can return in the not too distant future.
