We stayed at this hotel for six nights in October. I have to echo the other reviewers on the location--you can't get a better spot for sightseeing in Istanbul. The hotel is an easy five minute walk to the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, the Arasta Bazaar, and Topkapi Palace. Ten to fifteen minutes gets you to the Grand Bazaar. There are two mini-marts within about a minute's walk of the hotel for essentials assuming what you need isn't already stocked in your room. The rooms were immaculate and the beds very comfortable. My daughter and I had a room on the third floor while my parents had a room on the ground floor. Both had stocked mini-fridges with complimentary drinks. There is also a large bottle of water placed in your room each day. The rooms look exactly like the photos. Ours were both in the back of the hotel and very quiet. However, what makes this hotel stand out is the service and congenial atmosphere. Alper at the desk was phenomenal--friendly and knowledgeable, and so easy to talk to!--and Arzu (I hope that's how it's spelled) who creates the wonderful breakfasts was the best. My daughter is still talking about her and how wonderful her food was! The breakfast was the best I've ever had in 40+ years of traveling throughout Europe and staying at a variety of hotels and B&Bs. The assortment of fruits, cheeses, cookies, cereal, salads, and made-to-order eggs and omelets meant we could eat once in the morning and once for dinner and skip lunch entirely...and feel completely satisfied all day long. We enjoyed sitting outside and people-watching while we ate. I can't say enough about this hotel. Every single person on the staff made us feel as if we were welcomed guests in their homes. We enjoyed getting to know them and more about their culture--they were happy to sit and chat if you felt like it or leave you alone if that's what you prefer. Next time I'm in Istanbul, I'm staying at the Millennium Suites. I'd give it ten stars if I could!
