The location was good 10 mins walk to Historic Areas of Istanbul, the room was quite large & clean, and the staff very friendly and helpful. Asitane hotel is a very good choice, for visiting Istanbul. Was a great place to stay.

Hotel is a good choice for visiting Istanbul. The owner is very helpful recommending were to eat or places to visit . Turkish massage at Gedikpasa Hamman just a couple of minutes walk away is a good way to clean and refresh your body, but you may want to avoid the plunge pool at the end its ok but not suitable to chill around in to long?

This was our first time in Istanbul and this hotel was a good choice.

The room was quite large with fridge, sat tv, a comfy bed, air con. No elevator, but they will carry your luggage for you. Ah, you have free wireless in the room.

Unlike other reviewers, we didn't have a great view of the sea. Instead we had a great view of the other hotel across the street.

And the breakfast was ok-"ish". There were enough plates where to choose from, but they were depleted fast and replenished with small quantities especially if you arrived in the last hour.
Like, one finely cut tomato when you have 2 couples actively scanning the plates area for new arrivals ? In the last days we got the idea and simply demanded more...

But that didn't matter.

The location is really good, you can simply walk to Blue Mosque, Haga Sophia, Great Bazar -> all the good stuff that we wanted to see.

We made reservations on line and we were picked up at the airport. The reception at the hotel was staffed by people who spoke excellent english and were very helpfull and friendly. The entire hotel looked well cared for and the rooms and the bathroom were very clean. The hotel is located within walking distance from the Blue Mosque, Haga Sophia, Top Kapi and the Grand Bazar. It was nice to come home to in the evening after exploring Istanbul. Great place to stay.

We just back from nice holiday in Asitane Hotel, after 7 days we spent in this hotel, we were celebrating our weeding anniversary, we requested room on high floor with big bed, and we got what we request, fantastic room with sea view, the hotel is very nice, so near to everything you need, and very clean and calm hotel, thanks to the housekeeping for the room cleaning and changing the towels everyday, also the breakfast was also very good, very kind and helpful staff in the reception, i really recommend that to my travel agency, and to all my friends, and if i will travel again to Istanbul, for sure will be Asitane hotel

Room Tip: Room 502, fantastic room

Asitane is a small nice Hotel very close to the main turistic Square of Old Istambul but also close to the Sea. Excellent location if you want to be close to the old city attractions and at the same time to go for a walk (or a run) by the sea in the mornings.
The service is good. In fact, all members of the staff of Asitane Hotel are extremely friendly and very customer care oriented. The rooms (bed sheets and towels included) are clean, and the Hotel in general is clean. The breakfast is ok, a small point to improve would be to offer fresh fruits also in the buffet, this is something we missed, otherwise it is a good value for the price.
We stayed in a Family Room (2 adults and 2 children) with TV and nice view, and was a good choice and good value for the price. Thanks to the staff we had very pleasant 1 week stay, and wil certainly come back.
