“Great service, great location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2013

Its been nice 3 nights stay in the hotel. I had an impression it would be bigger from the pictures. Although the hotel was smaller than I thought, it was cosy and nice. It has a lift, unlike many others in Sultanahmet leading to a nice terrace. Turkey will be always special for me as a vacation destination. This hotel gave the best welcome. It is close to main attractions in Sultanahmet. We walked with our 5 yr old to all places. Lucky, to have a nice weather. There is a convenience store next door for any need.

The breakfast was small but very neat and good. The had good coffee, fresh pancakes and omelettes made to choice. They served good quality coffee every morning from beans, I consider this is a big thing in a hotel, its something I miss in any luxury hotel as well. Our man, Ismail helped us with all information without being pushy, which I really liked.

The room was decent sized, although on the ground floor it was noise-free except for next door people. But you can opt for the executive suite if you want bigger on a higher floor. Sleep was good.

They kept our luggage till we were back for our second stint in Istanbul, after 3 days in Kusadasi. We had to change hotel due to non availability of room on our desired dates.

Thank you for a nice stay

My wife and I stayed at this boutique hotel for 5 days commencing November 1. We chose this hotel due to its proximity to many of the amazing historical sights. This hotel next to the Hippodrome exceeded our expectations. The staff were too numerous to name as to how amazing and friendly they were to us which elevated this vacation to an even higher level of satisfaction and excellence. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and personable. We felt like we were in our own home every time we walked in the front door, conversed or left for our daily excursions. They could not do enough for us when asked and they completed any travel or excursion preparations that we required. The room was spacious, comfortable and well maintained. The food in the restaurant was well prepared, fresh and tasty. The Turkish bath, sauna and excellent massages after a long day of touring provided a refreshing and relaxing way to end the day. We are planning to return for an extended visit in 2014 and look forward to visiting with our new staff friends at this lovely hotel.

We stayed at the Best western premiere home for a week 21/10/13-28/10/13. Staff very polite and friendly, manager Mustafa would go out of his way to help. Hotel very clean, comfy beds. Free Wifi!!
Great location, 5-10mins away from Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi palace. Defo recommend visiting Istanbul. Bosphorus cruise amazing!! Loads of food places, and plenty of Turkish delight. Be sure to shop at the Grand bazaar, an experience!!!

Not 5 star luxury but the room was a decent size, and included a fridge and safe. Breakfast was tasty and varied while the staff were eager to help.

Most of the tourist attractions are within a leisurely 10-15 minute walk so the location can't be faulted. I came here for 5 days and for that it was perfect.

We couldn't decide whether to stay at Taksim, where the best hotels are or in the Old Town. We made the right choice staying here. It is a small hotel, but in a great location! Just a 5 minute walk to Agia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. There is a tram line near the Blue Mosque that we used to explore the other parts of the city very easily. It is just 3 TL per person anywhere.

There are lots of restaurants near by and all the old historic attractions are very close. The staff are very friendly! They really all went out of their way to offer help and advice. There are Three and four bed rooms, so it is perfect for families. I would recommend this hotel if you want to be close to the attractions.

Our family of four stayed in a junior suite for five nights. We really, really enjoyed it. It is very conveniently located, close to many of the major tourist attractions - we, with our 8- and 5-year-old boys, walked to all but two of the places we visited. And its rooftop restaurant, with a beautiful view of the Sea of Marmara, was a great place to have dinner after a day's worth of walking. But what really sets this hotel apart is the staff. They are wonderful, very warm, friendly, helpful and welcoming. As other reviewers have said, by the end of our stay they felt more like friends than hotel staff. If we go back to Istanbul, we know where we will stay.

This hotel is like finding a small treasure. First its filled with a staff that you will not think of as staff once you begin to know them. I left there with many new friends. Its situated within a nice walk to all the key points or most of them and there is a wonderful farm market in the parking lot close by with eye popping produce. The hotel's setting is also nice because it has a little nook of its own and after a few days we started to recognize all the characters that work there in the little triangle out front and soon we knew the man who runs the store beside the hotel and we watched the tv show being filmed weekly across the street. We loved sitting at the tables outside and chatting with our new friends there as much as we did exploring the ancient sites. Istanbul is full of the most wonderful people and good fresh foods. The food at the hotel is very good and you will be happy there. I promise. Give my love to Murat, Ferit, Mustafa, Gulus......... all of the staff, they are wonderful.

Room Tip: we prefer the ones that overlook from the front of the hotel but dont be there when we want to come...
