“Smart hotel - expensive food & drinks”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2012

Hotel is beautiful - everything is of a high quality - rooms are well equipped and elegant. Used the hotel, spa, pool & gym - first class facilities. Unlike previous reviewer, I had no language problems except an amusing conversation with the young waitress at breakfast (two and tea sound very similar) The hotel offer a free shuttle to and from the nearby Sabiha airport (carefull, Istanbul has 2 airports an hour apart!)
My only criticism was the price of food and especially drink! €3 for water & coke, €7 for 1/2 a beer! If you walk towards the lake in the Mall next to the hotel (exit hotel at -2 level) there are several restaurants that charge normal prices.

Quite new hotel, located next to an outlet mall and amusement center. Due to its location (almost 2h drive to the center of Istanbul with "regular" traffic jam), it is more dedicated to business trips in this area (Eastern Istanbul, Gebze…).
I stayed one week in the 8th floor (executive one). Good services (laundry, room service, reception able to speak proper English…).
+: Nice room, modern bathroom, free wifi
-: Prices of the food and beverages (11 TRY, almost 5 EUR for an expresso !), food or beverage bought outside (in the shopping mall for example) are forbidden

The hotel is quite nice inside however they will not let you bring food or drink into the hotel. Since the tap water is not drinkable we found this to be unacceptable. The temperature in the hotel was also quite warm and the air conditioning was turned off for the winter. Even if with the windows open the rooms were uncomfortably hot. The hallways were even warmer. The hotel offers two complimentary bottles water in the rooms but they are not provided every day. We spoke to 5 people in the hotel one day starting with the front desk before we were provided water. Food at adjacent shopping mall was better than the hotel's. Also the room cards had to be reset each day when returning to the hotel. They would not work for the elevators of the rooms when we returned. The amusement park next door is also quite loud and the lights flash into the rooms. I would recommend finding a different hotel.

Room Tip: I would suggest getting a room on the west side of the hotel to avoid the noise of the amusement par...

This hotel have a grat level ofquality and a reasonable price. Wonderful gym and sauna. The hotel is connected to a mall with some small resturant and several shop. Note this hotel is far from Old istanbul but very close to SAW airport (not Ataturk). The hotel is a real 5-star bran new.

Room Tip: There is some traffic ask for a room not on the main road (the quality is in any case good)

This hotel offers excellent facilities. Spacious rooms, health spa, indoor pool. However, its location is only suitable for people who have either business in the area or are transitting from Sabiha airport, the second airport in Istanbul. Depending on traffic, it can take up to 1.5 hours by taxi to Istanbul down town.

Breakfast is buffet style and very nice, great selection. The hotel restaurant is a bit formal and the bar is inside the restaurant and not on its own.

The hotel is situated right next to a huge outlet shopping mall. The staff overall are very friendly and like to please.
