I visited both of the shops in Arasta bazaar after I read the rave reviews on TA. I was so excited to visit these cute stores and buy quality handmade Turkish towels that are sold by a vendor with a great cause. I bought several towels of various designs and sizes and brought them home happily. However, I followed the instructions and soaked the towels and hang-dried them and noticed a lot of lint! I couldn't hand pick them all or use a roller to get rid of it all after trying, so I put them in the dryer with a dryer sheet and i was finally able to get all lint off of the towels. But some strings of the towels became loose. :( They are really soft and thick, but I was disappointed with all the lint and towels falling apart already! I have't even used them once! They are for a great cause, so giving 4 stars for 'interesting', but honestly they are overpriced for the quality i got. If i bought them in the US, I would have requested a refund. :(
