A very good service. From the reservation and marketing manager Mr. Ayhan to their restaurant staff who are very accommodating, and friendly to us during our stay. Even helped us arrange our bosphorus tour, airport pick ups and not to forget their free turkish & apple tea. A very strategic location, just a stones throw from the Basilica Cistern, blue mosque and Hagia Sofia. We'll definitely come back and recommend Ares Hotel to our friends who are planning to visit this amazing country.

Staff were accommodating and delivered great service. Great location and great value for your money. Will definitely stay there again when i go back turkey. Ayhan, reservation manager was a great help, he arranged tour and airport transfers for me and my friends. Food in the hotel restuarant is great as well.
Kudos! To the entire hotel staff!!!!

Very good location, just a walking distance from most of the tourist spot in Sultanahmet. Very accomodating staff especially Mr Ayhan the reservation Manager, he helped us for our private car pickup in transferring to another airport and arrange some tours for us. The services of the whole staff were excellent! Great value for a budgetholiday!

3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2013

We got a pretty dungeon like room, with no windows, very tight space , smelly, although it was clean but rooms not good.
It would have been ok if you are traveling solo, or couple that doesn't care abt romance, or someone who just needs a bed at night. Me my husband and we have a 10 month old baby so this hotel nor room was for us. We had suitcases and stroller (that barely fit into the tiny elevator)
Their breakfast is pretty ok. I don't eat eggs so I was in trouble.

It's an ok hotel if you are a budget and just need a bed and bathroom.
But you can't enjoy or be comfortable.....

But let me also say the manager was very sweet and helped carry our luggage and our stroller, he also helped us get a last minute taxi as our airport transfer didn't show up, and this guy carried our luggage for ten mins until we got a cab.

Also locations very good right in center of all the attractions:)

Room Tip: Make sure room has windows lol Never thought I'll get a room with no windows

Near all the tourist attractions in istanbul. Rooms are not massive but are absolutely fine. Friendly helpful staff. Didn't have any problems there. We still got around all of the city including the asian side fine. Ares is 2 minute walk from sultanahmet tram stop.
