It is all true: the apartments are in a cracking location (just on the edge of the old city, but in a very trendy area with lots of nice locals - infinitely better than Taksim Square), great staff(!), stunning rooms, great value for money, a quiet spot - you really could not beat it. And Istanbul is well worth a visit, too! All in all, this place deserves all of the plaudits and the awards. Thank you for a lovely stay!

we spent 4 nights at galateia. our room was definitively a 5 star hotel quality. very friendly staff, large apartment for a family of four, well refurbished, clean and modern interior design ie no carpet floor, free wi-fi, quiet and safe area on top of Pera. best value for money in a long, long time. strongly recommended.

These apartments are huge, with superior fittings - Vitra bathrooms, all mod cons, well stocked large fridge with minibar prices cheaper than local shops, fully serviced, kept tidy and spotless, with separate wifi in every apartment (no drop in download speeds) and satellite tv. The location is the best in town - in a quiet spot at the back the buzzing area of trendy bars and great restaurants of Beyoglu, and within walking distance of the Museum of Modern Art and the Bosphorus. We hopped up to the Babylon club for a gig, had a 40-spice steak on the rooftop at Leb-i Derya with amazing views, and a quiet Crimean with a piano in a former prison - all a short walking distance away. If we get the chance to return to Istanbul we will definitely stay there again.

The place is perfect in terms of location, rooms and service. It is quite astonishing to have all this at a very reasonable price. The other positive reviews about this place are bang on.

I recommend this place both for a holiday or a business trip.
