“Amazing staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2013

I enjoyed an incredible few days in Hotel Seraglio. From we arrived and were offered a complimentary drink the staff gave amazing service. I could not recommend the hotel highly enough - great location, lovely rooms and food, fantastic staff

We really enjoyed this hotel. We stayed 3 nights and everything was great. The old town location was marvelous and so was the staff who were helpful in every regard. The breakfasts were delicious, and the one dinner we had there was excellent also. I would definitely choose this hotel on a return visit.

Just got back after spending three nights at Seraglio. We were in a standard double room which was well appointed with a clean bathroom and large comfortable double bed. Very friendly service from the reception staff especially Jalal, good advice regarding transportation (including arranging airport-hotel transfers) and things to see and do. Breakfast (excellent choice on the buffet) and teatime (hot beverage, cakes, biscuits and fresh fruit) were included and were of high quality. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Our first visit to Istanbul and the hotel staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Can't wait to stay there again. The breakfasts are a treat with a lot of choice and everything spotlessly clean. Do try the bistro because the food is very good and much better value for money than the nearby restaurants. We found the hotel very central for the sights but nicely tucked away in a quiet corner.

Room Tip: It's worth paying a little more for a de luxe room, though all rooms are comfortable and spotles...

Spent four nights at seraglio hotel. The first two in a standard room and last two in the hamman superior. We highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are very up to date along with good size bathrooms. The hamman room also had a Turkish bath area. The service from the front desk guys was very friendly and they were only to happy to assist with every request. One of the best boutique hotels we have stayed in.

Room Tip: Hamman room is excellent

My sister and I visited Istanbul on our way to India in February. This was our first trip together and were very excited. After researching for various hotels we decided to go with Hotel Seraglio and I am glad we did.

The manager was prompt with our email correspondence and also gave us a discount for a stay. We were picked up from the airport in a huge car. I emphasize on huge because we were carrying a total of 6 bags (4 big and 2 small). When you visit home (India for us) once a year even 6 bags are not enough :) The driver was polite, didn't speak English but did his job well. The manager was helpful and the room was nice and clean. Loved the shower pressure, perfect after a 8 hour flight.

The location of the hotel is perfect, minutes away from Blue Mosque, Arasta Bazaar as well as the trams. There are plenty of restaurants and grocery stores. We tried the restaurant at Seraglio and found it ok. Basically limited vegetarian options. The breakfast was really good, loved the cucumbers, figs and fresh fruits.

They helped booked a taxi for us to go back to the airport. The best part was when they gifted us with evil eye key chains while leaving. Would definitely recommend Sergalio.

From the moment our group of 6 adults arrived at Hotel Seraglio, Kenan - the front desk manager - made sure that we were welcomed into this special little hotel just a few minutes walk from The Blue Mosque. Kenan and his assistant, Yosef, took special care of us for all 3 days were stayed there. Each greeting was warm, personal and anxious to hear about our experience in the city.

Our room had a small balcony, was perfectly air conditioned with a fantastic bathroom and space to stretch out. The breakfast served daily was fantastic - and set the tone for our great visit to Istanbul. Everybody at the Seraglio worked to make sure our stay there was pleasant. The small cafe in the back was welcoming, and we would sit there in the evening and enjoy brewed apple tea which was really good.

The hotel is three short turns from the Blue Mosque (an easy walk) although taxi's from the airport have a bit of a challenge finding it! Free internet in the lobby was always on, and there was no better place for us to stay in the city.

Don't hesitate to ask Kenan about his particular recommended spots to see - he loved standing in front of the map in the lobby and pointing out each of the sights he wanted us to make sure we saw!

This is the place for you to stay in you want affordable convenience, unparalleled service from a friendly staff - at a price that is more than fair. Stay here!!!!

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a balcony if available, but all of the rooms here are clean, comfortable and wel...
