Dropped in for a coffee after visiting the nearby Arasta Bazaar - both just behind the Sultan Ahmed (Blue) Mosque. Sat outside and watched the passing shoppers over coffee. Came back on our last night in town for dinner in gardens out the back, with the mosque towers as backdrop against the evening sky.
Amed, our charming, attentive waiter recommended us the house specialty, a real dramatic flame-engulfed pottery hotpot of so-tender meat and mushrooms and tomato, eggplant delight. As we waited we watched tourists like ourselves and locals all succumbing to the dish. At TL55 it was more than enough for two.
Definitely worth the visit.
