My fiancee and I stumbled across this place late on our first night in Istanbul. It's on a corner street away from the bustle of the main strip of tourist shops right next to the Sutanahmet (blue) mosque. That privacy aspect was super nice, the narghile shops near the strip mall were very crowded whereas this was super peaceful.
My fiancee and I got the special narghile, with milk in place of water at the bottom. It added something subtle and pleasant to the experience. We also enjoyed hands down the best baklava of our entire trip to Turkey. Rounded out the evening by playing backgammon...all in all it was a great first night in the city.
I don't know about the entrees but if the baklava was any indication this is a great place to get food and enjoy a water pipe on a quiet side street.
