“Location location location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2013

We were very pleased with this hotel. It is new and rooms are lovely. Staff was very friendly. Pretty dining area and good food set out at tea time. Bathroom was also really nice. Most ijmportantl is their location. I can't imagine being in a better setting. It is just steps away from the major tourist attractions, many restaurants nearby, yet set back on a quiet street with regards to traffic.Their only drawback is the lack of a rooftop restaurant, which others have and afford a beautiful view of the city sights and water.

We stayed in family room with our two young adult sons. Very comfortable space good value. Delicious tea and treats served every day at 3pm. Staff were so friendly and a huge help in booking transfers. Rooms were very clean and beds were awesome. Call to prayer not an issue in terms of noise even though you are steps away from blue mosque. Artisan market and many restaurants nearby. Lively city and experience thanks to Feret!

Breakfast was very nice -- yummy cheese, hot tea, and lots of variety. They even let us in early one morning so we could get something before our flight.
Location was convenient, though the walk to the Blue Mosque was uphill.
Staff was friendly, and helpful -- delivered some late arriving luggage to the room while we were out.
The building was a little run down, faucets leaked and the card activated electricity could be finicky (based on 2 different rooms), but overall nice.

Room Tip: The double and triple rooms appear to be the same size, just with an extra bed in the triple...

I have been to Istanbul a number of times on business, but never as a proper tourist, so it was the location of this hotel that first attracted me. Situated only a short walk from all of Istanbul's main tourist attractions, it is located perfectly. We were given a family room for the price of an ordinary double room, so our room was enormous, tastefully decorated, and a pleasure to sleep in. Breakfasts were good and served in an amazing room - full of ancient walls. Free cake, coffee and tea were served in the lobby in the afternoons. And the staff were very helpful with sorting out a safe that wouldn't unlock, arranging transportation for us back to the airport, etc.

I loved it!! Very friendly staff. The rooms are nice, clean and confortable.
I traveled alone and I had a room with two beds but the front desk manager changed my room to another with one king size bed and the Bosphorus view.

The first night I didn't have an adaptor, the staff went to the store, buy an adaptor and they borrow me the adaptor for a few days.

The hotel is located 3 blocks from the Blue Mosque, this is a very safe place and is close to all historical places like Haga Sofia, The Cistern, Topkapi Palace
The breakfast was very good and at afternoon you can have tea, cakes for free in the reception.
The staff is amazing!! They provided me a lot of information about how to go to different places always trying to help in the best way and with a cup of warm turkish tea.
I asked them to arrange my airport pick up, which was perfectly on time.

I strongly recommended it! I'll be back!

My wife and I stayed for six nights and were very impressed with the following
1. The comfort of the rooms, I slept very well
2. The service - all staff were really helpful
3. Breakfast was for all and consisted of omelettes, breads, pastries, muesli, yoghurt, fresh fruit, dried fruit, jams, honey, cheeses, salads and olives - a truly international selection.
4. Every afternoon, tea, cakes and biscuits were laid out in the reception area, just what one needs after a hard days sight seeing
5. There was lots of space in the hotel, the dinning room was in the basement which included remnants of ancient walls.
6. The hotel is located within two minutes walk of all the major sights

Room Tip: We had a view of Aya Sofia and once on the balcony a good view of the Bosphorus

In the very heart of Sultanahmet, very very friendly staff, spacious and clean room, huge buffet. Our stay in Istanbul was wonderful thanks to this hotel and his staff and we shall return there whenever it will be possible.
