Unless you want to rest in your hotel room during the day this hotel is an excellent choice. I stayed during April 2015 and was pleased with the quality of the beds, breakfast, rooms and bathrooms. I had 2 different stays over 2 weeks.
Unfortunately during the day it is too noisy to sleep as the renovations are being completed.

We spent two nights at the Peak Hotel with my wife in February 2015, during a romantic weekend in Istanbul. Reaching the hotel by public means of transportation was tricky but we made it, as we wanted to avoid using taxis. However, the hotel is really nicely located next to a really long commercial road (Istiklal), which hosted all types of shops that a tourist might look for while also being in walking distance from a high number of sights like Bosporus and Aya Sofia among others.

The room was really modern & nice: Large enough for a couple, with comfortable furniture (including armchairs and coffee table), a nice working desk, high speed internet (free of charge), room amenities (coffee, tea, water boiler etc.) and a comfortable bed. It even featured an iron board and iron, which was pretty handy. Only drawbacks the bad view (our huge window was looking at a really old, abandoned building) and the fact that we did not manage to make the TV work with free channels.

The bathroom was also lovely, bright & renovated with a lot (and I mean a lot!) of amenities, including shaving razors and cream & toothpaste/toothbrush (which are usually found only at very pricey hotels! Bathrobe and slippers were also included.

Breakfast was rather rich and of high quality, featuring both sweet and savory stuff and including some traditional dishes (I always appreciate that). There was not coffee machine, as long as I remember, so we had a typical filter coffee. We didn't manage to take advantage of a free lunch/dinner that we were offered in the nearby restaurant, which looked really modern and cozy.

What we did not like was the constant noise throughout the day (even during midday/noon) due to construction works taking place within the hotel. We were not informed about that and the ear buds provided did not actually help...however, since we spent most of our time outside, this was not as bad as it sounds.

Overall, we believe that it was a good room for its price and we would consider visiting it again during our next visit at Istanbul, as long as the construction is over!

Room Tip: Higher floor rooms had a better view and must have been more quiet

So, it was not bad zhotel with good price 75$ per night.
In this hotel was really good and delicious bteakfest with good choices of meal.
The bad that rooms are a bit old and need to be modernized.
Also there was a facade recovery when we was here and it is noisy.
I hope that this hotel will finish all works and will be better.

The Entire hotel building was under construction and they had never mentione that in booking. From 7am to 8pm there were too many noise and you couldn't relax. There was no window to see outside. I can only say, don't trust the photos in the website. It is a pure lying. They wrote that the rooms were 20sqm. But they were not mor than 12sqm.

Banging all day, NO HOT WATER. Unless you are desperate, don't book here. Not restful. Rooms are cool in the new design but tiny. Internet connection weak. No view, the windows face another hotel's air conditioners.
They should close for this renovation or at least announce these true conditions.

Room Tip: Don't!

I booked a room a few weeks ago and when I arrived I realized that the lower price was offered because there is a renovation going on at the hotel. They did not want to close down the place for a few weeks, so they are doing the renovation slowly (from 10 to 17 everyday), while the customers are being drilled a for a few hours per day! This is not fair; they should have mentioned this important fact on the offer! Also, the facade of the hotel is completely covered, so the front rooms have a view of the renovation 'curtain'.

This hotel suprise me in a good way !I stayed for 2 nigths at the end of February 2015. My room was on the 6th floor and was fully renovated .The bathroom has many facilities, their set of bathrobes were packed in plastics bags (!) and they offer tea and coffes facilities .The staf is very friendly and polite .The breakfast has a lot of choices both in hot and cold dishes, hams ,cheeses, pies ,one of the best I have ever met in a 4* hotel. The location is excellent.Only 50m from Istiklal for your shopping therapy .Also there are many bars , cafes and restaurant in the streets around the hotel .It's location is convient for visiting the tourist attractions of the city and it is close to metro station. The bar-restaurant of the hotel has a smoking area , something that you don't easily find in the city .
