Did this during our visit to Istanbul and had a great time. Eveline was very welcoming and a great host, backed up by a great team in the kitchen. The time flew by and we prepared five dishes and then ate them with the great group of people we met. Some people have complained on here about the value, but our experience was that for five hours of cookery and a meal with wine and drinks the cost was justified. While it is true we did a lot of preparation, that actually meant the work was shared and we got all five dishes made. If we had prepared the food individually that would have not been possible and the communal spirit of the course would have been lost. We saw every stage of the cooking process and learnt a lot about the ingredients and ways to cook them in a Turkish style.
It was very satisfying to see people eating the food we had helped prepare, under very good supervision from the kitchen team (4 of them and 5 of us!). Also, the experience of meeting new people is what made this course so good, we even shared a taxi to the airport with one couple we met there. It is a great testament to the passion that Eveline and George have that in a city full of places to eat every table was reserved. Not the polished and practiced cookery classes you find elsewhere, but something far more real life, especially working in a proper restaurant.

Thank you for this wonderful review. It captures what we are about just perfectly, in fact, I could not have put it in better words myself! We thoroughly enjoyed cooking with you and we hope to see you back in our kitchen some day!
