“solid value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2012

Our party of 3 arranged a 3 day precruise Istanbul package through Byzas. All services provided were prompt and exactly as described. The hotel (Levni) we chose through the package was great and the value for what was provided was excellent.

“Excellent Turkey tour planning”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2012

We had a wondeful holiday in Turkey, we wrote to Byzas and they arranged the schedule, hotels, private tour guides airplane reservations. Everything they have done was very good and we had a very professional tour guide selection. We recommend to everyone that wants to enjoyed their stay in Turkey to contact them.

“You helped it to come alive”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2012

Gallipoli is just a place without the efforts, knowledge and insights of our guide Adem. RAMAZAN picked us up at our hotel in Instanbul and skillfully transported us to Eceaban. It was already afternoon, so after a good meal at the local restaurant we took the ferry across to Cannakale and then on to Troy. Our guide at Troy was very familiar having grown up there. The tour needed only an hour as Troy is really quite small. A thunderstorm with hail also hastened the walk-about. Byzas arranged a very comfortable hotel room. My companion and I walked along the harbor and then had a great fish dinner.
Next morning Ramazan picked us up to re-cross the Dardenelles straits to find Adem and proceed to Gallipoli. Without Adem's depth of knowledge, I suspect that Gallipoli would have just been a bunch of cemeteries, caved-in trenches and over-large monuments. The sad story of Gallipoli unfolded and came alive thanks to Byzas and their staff. A ride among unpredictable and wild Turkish drivers got us safely back to our hotel and ready to enjoy Istanbul. It was a good investment.

“gallipoli day trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2012

The trip with Byzas tours was exceptional. Excellent driver, very comfortable Mercedes van just for the three of us with heavy duty air con which was very necessary on a 42+ degree C day. The tour guide we met at Gallipoli had excellent English and he was a scholar so was able to answer many of our questions from an informed historical perspective. The time at each site was well planned and the tour of the new museum was excellent as well. Our lunch was satisfactory but we understood the sensitivities of this during Ramadan. Overall an unforgettable experience that had much to offer, even for my husband who had been there before but not on a tour.
