“Great location with great staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2013

Osmanhan was not my first preference, but I am so glad I picked Osmanhan for our stay in Istanbul. One cannot ask for a better location than Osmanhan. It was less than 5 mins walk to the major sights. The rooms were a little small but very clean and nice with comfortable bed. The rooms are sound proof and we could not hear other people or the noise from the street. Mr. Ilknur at the front desk was very helpful in giving information and helping us with the tours. Breakfast was served on the terrace with a fantastic sea view. I cannot find any negatives for this hotel and I highly recommend it.

Can't fault the location or the staff at this small but perfectly located hotel. Rooms on the small side but adequate, perfectly clean and stocked well including mini bar. The breakfast was lovely and served on the rooftop terrace with beautiful views. Also able to take a bottle of wine or beer ( free coffee) up there any time. Perfect for sunset watching. Reception staff always very pleasant and helpful, storing large bags all day very happily, organising van to the airport and giving good advice. Location within 5 minutes of major sights with loads of restaurants right next door. Happy place to stay.

Great location walking distance from major sights and trolley buses. Staff were very welcoming and helpful carrying our heavy luggage up three flights of stairs! No elevator! Room was nice and comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities and TV and AC. First place we found in Turkey that actually supplies toilet rolls! Breakfast on terrace with sea view was great with lots of choices and fresh coffee! We were able to drink an evening glass of wine on the terrace with our own wine. Airport shuttle bus will drop off and pick up from here for around 10/15 euros or 25/30 turkish lira depending on which airport you are going to and the service was frequent and very efficient. Front desk can organise or we organised ourselves at a local travel agent. Lots of choice for restaurants nearby - many with rooftop dining so its not hard to find something that appeals to you.

This was our first trip to Istanbul! This hotel was a find! It is conveniently located near the blue mosque so all the major sights are within walking distance. The room was comfortable and nicely done out. The staff were welcoming and friendly, always stopping for a chat every time we returned from various activities! Breakfast is served on the roof with a fabulous view over the Bosphorus. All this for less than £100/night! When we return to Istanbul we will stay here again and would recommend everyone else to!

It was our second visit to Istanbul so we decided to stay close to the "touristy highlights". We can not overestimate the positive attitude of the staff there.
Mustafa is the owner he was allways there welcoming each guest on breakfast time and serving himself to each guest.Front desk İlknur he was helpful and knowledgeable about all İstanbul!
Our room were well decorated and allways very clean.Breakfast was allways with very fresh home made cakes and with different types of delicious foods.
We do highly recommend to everybody Osmanhan Hotel who wants to be in the center of old İstanbul in a very quait location with the süper service.

I will not say anything different from other reviewers as this place deserve such a good ratings.
What makes good about this lovely hotel is its staff, specially Fatih and Ilknur who are doing their job professionally with their perfect English.
Breakfast is very delicious! Mrs. Fadime was always there with her lovely smile!
We could also use the roof top terrace after breakfast time to relax with our coffee.
I will certainly come back to this hotel if i ever visit Istanbul again.
