I think maxidog1 has it about right. I had a great experience meeting other foreigners here but I almost had to beg to be given a menu. The waitresses seemed more interested in painting their nails than serving and although there were almost as many staff as guests nobody seemed to do very much without coaxing. Maybe that's because they were all trainees - a flier suggests that the cafe is training poor local ladies to learn about service industry jobs.... but I'm afraid they have quite a way to go. The tuna melt I had was not really even warmed let alone a 'melt' through though the bread it was made with was delicious and, I think, home made. The coffee was good but cost about twice the price of the more central and better appointed Sagafredo.
