The two Number Three guesthouses are at different locations. First we stayed one night at Casa Blanca, also on street 18, a lower cost/quality guesthouse of the same group, because we arrived one night earlier.
The Number Three Lush is slightly spacier than the No:3 guesthouse. Located at the end of street 18 it is very quiet and has a specious garden. A restaurant-BBQ is being built on the lawn. Parking space for about 10 cars and with day and night security and large generators.
The specious executive rooms are on the groundfloor (PkRs 8000, negotiable) and the larger suites are on the first floor (PkRs 10000, negotiable) including simple breakfast, WiFi and the newspapers. The cook can make a good meal according to your wishes.
Upstairs is a light and very spacious office-sitting area and downstairs a large room (also with TV's) as well as a dining area.
In one room we gound a lot of dust under the bed, another the TV channels were not all working and in a third the toilet did not flush properly, but all complaints were directly attended to. There is no personal safe box and no coffee-tea maker, but the room service is not very expensive. There are no non-smoking rooms, which requires in some cases substantial airing out.
When our Metro Taxi did not turn up in time, the manager immediately helped us out with the hotel vehicle.
From the guesthouse it is a short 10 minutes walk to Jinna Market with the Kabul Restaurant.
