“A Palace only to view afar”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013

As I stayed in AV Hotel, the palace was just 100m away. There is a couple of army checkpoints near the palace. The palace itself can only be viewed from the outside.to take a photo I walked to the road divider at the traffic light and waited for a moment to take a shot. The Palace reflects French influence.Either than for a photo this is not a tourist must-see attraction.

“Is this really an attraction?”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

You can't go in and the building is really not worth a picture. Even if you are in the neighborhood it is probably not worth a detour.

“Quick picture and off you go”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2012

This is a very beautiful building, and I would have loved to see inside...but it is not accessible to the public. Snap a quick photo as you leave Wat Si Saket (or even from the window as you drive by), and you're off to the next stop.

“Picture Through The Gates Only”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2012 via mobile

Grand looking, french infuenced Palace, looks better in the sunshine.

Worth a quick look and pic through the gates before visiting Wat Si Saket or walking up to Talat Sao or further to Patu Xay. Also able to get a nice picture of the monument in the distance from in front of the Palace.

“See only but cannot enter”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2012

Highlight is just to take a picture from outside the gates (locked). Could have just bought a postcard.
