“Clean, modern, fresh and yummy Lao food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2013

Great menu with local ingredients ( think Riverweed from the Mekong - like toasted seaweed with sesame seeds with an amazing Lao sauce). Especially good for catering for vegetarians and other fussy eaters. If your idea of a trip to a foreign country involves burgers and fries then stay away; if it involves sampling fresh, clean flavours of the local cuisine then it is a must.

“Authentic fresh Laos food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2013 via mobile

Tip: This place is popular so be sure to make a reservation or you can leave your no with them and they will call when your table is ready. There's some good bars in the street to await a table.
Dined here a few times & it's my favourite place for Laos food. Fresh & authentic it never disappoints.
Try the fresh spring rolls, omelette, deep fried chicken in banana leaf & whatever else takes your fancy. They are happy to accommodate variations (ie without x, more chilli etc)
Very reasonable prices by Vientiane standards - you will be hard pressed to find better value for such good food.
Will be back!

“Couldn't stay away!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

We loved this place so much that we came back for more! The food is spicy and goes perfectly with some Beer Lao. We particularly liked the papaya salad. Portions are generous and the service is quick and friendly. It is a popular spot so it is best to come early.

“Fresh food, good flavours, amazing value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

Never before have we eaten so much good food for so little!

This central restaurant fills up quickly so make sure you book a table or arrive early. We went as a group of four in December 2012 after reading good tripadvisor reviews - we certainly agree with them.

The food was made with fresh ingredients and was cooked nicely by someone who obviously knew what they were doing with Lao flavours. We ordered the spring rolls to share as an appetiser (which were not the same as our western spring rolls) and we sampled the chicken fried rice, beef stir fry, a Thai green curry and a few other rice dishes. All were cooked well, presented nicely and served in decent portion sizes.

We would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to sample some traditional Lao dishes with a modern twist.

“Absolutely fantastic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 24, 2012

Great Lao food. Value very good. Owner of the restaurant visited us at our table and was very pleasant to talk to. I would out this at the top of the restaurant list in Vientienne.
