“I would love to go back!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2014

I was travelling solo and just popped in for a light meal, however wish that I could go back and spend an evening there with friends. I had a chicken salad and it was fresh and very tasty! All of the menu items looked appealing though and they had a huge range of imported beers on offer! It was the best meal that I had in Vientiane and if I ever return to the town, I will make an effort to revisit this restaurant.

“Belgian biker around the world.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2014

We love chokdee cafe. The atmosphere which we found there make this place as our small mark. To be able to eat a " True casserole moules & frites " (mussel & chips) far away from home, by savoring Belgian beers only found for export that was a Magic moment during our long journey around the world. Thanks to his boss which so welcomed us we spent good moments trying also Laotian menus and with nice Laotians people. Les ptiloups.

“Warmth of Belgian hospitality and coolness of Belgian beers”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2014 via mobile

During our stay we often ended up in this very nice little bar on one of the main streets of Vientiane to savour one of the many Belgian beers, accompanied by those tasty and typical snacks (make sure you try out the mini "tartare toasts" !). Chilled atmosphere, lots of tasteful pictures and paintings on the walls (feels like home if you do come from Belgium, surrounded by Tintin and cie, while drinking an Orval ;)). Overall a nice place to have a coffee or fresh juice in the morning while checking your mailbox, to have the first laobeer of the day a bit later or to hang out at night before going out afterwards... Highly recommended !
