“pay attention to room 403 it's a nightmare”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2011

We paid 35 usd for a double room you can find something better for less money.
The Hotel Hall is very nice but once entering in the room we noticed that it was dirty.
Bathroom was small and smelly, window did not close, bad was old.
The excellent location and the good breakfast and since the reservation was prepaid are the only things that made us stay for 2 nights.
We had a look around and there are plenty of nice places nicer and less expensive.

My stay here was hell. My room had one window that looked over.... a wall. As evening fell, this wall started emanating all kinds of sounds: it was the periphery of one of Vientiane's most well known nightclubs, Bor Ben Nyang! I was treated to Black Eyed Peas, Pink, and Lao pop, free of charge! Lucky me! I could hear actual conversations of the inebriated patrons. When I asked to change rooms (so that I could get some sleep) I was told 'no'. When the nightclub finally shut, sending screaming drunkards into the night air, the air conditioning units next door kicked in, rattling and humming all night. It was hell, pure hell. For the price, you really expect better than this.

Very nice room with antiques but very poor wi-fi reception on the top floor where the exec suite are located. Go for the cheaper rooms on the lower floors

The Room has a TV, internet and a bathroom.
It also was verry cold and dirty in there, no warm water and had a window
that didnt really shut out on a roof with carbage and other rubbish.
There where loads of moskitos and an ugly bed.
We booked for two nights and left after the first, because it was awful.
The staff was friendly !
Didnt dare to try the restaurant.

No window, wi fi didn't work, could not call reception on phone, could not receive incoming calls - the list goes on. We stayed at much nicer places in the city and vang vieng for much less. Look else where.

This place was great it was relatively clean and the staff were really nice and helpful. Just pray you get on of the rooms near the bar because it can get quite noisy. The bath rooms could have been better but this hotel was in a great location.

This hotel have a big problem; no idea of what clean means. In the rooms, in the corridors and even in the breakfast area. There were even dead cockroachs on the floor.

There is nothing positive to tell. Yes they have nice art pieces in the hotel but... thats all.
