It's a Brothel!!!!When I arrived,I was told that my room wasn't ready.I waited in the foyer only to witness many prostitutes coming & going, slipping money to reception staff.Rooms are filthy, dark & dingy,so not it described on the website!!

Good value , and in the center of local night life , the staff were very efficient and polite . The rooms are ok , you must remember the price . Very nice coffee for breakfast , they don't cook the toast very well but otherwise ok . It was easy to get transport fom the front of the hotel , although need to venture far as so much night life around for the solo male traveller .

After a short not satisfying stint in the Blue Tongue Htl I changed back to the older but for me since long known and more convenient Flamingos.
The rooms are big enough for me, nice furnished, but not "New" and most have a good daylight. The aircon was ok, but leaked some water to the floor.
Bathrooms are small, but have a good hot shower!
WIFI, Internet could do better! Staff is very friendly, location is lively and has many shopping and entertainment, night life, just around the corner.
So, it can be some music be heard in some rooms, near 51 street, but that does not disturb me, as I come home usual late myself.
Overall, I still felt well, in opposition to many negative reports here on Tripadvisor.

Airport pick up went well. Forget about the much trumpeted rooftop Bar & Grill; it's not open. Room is a bit tired and measures about 4 x 4.5m. Air con really struggles. It does get rid of the humidity eventually. If you leave the bathroom door open, it cannot cope. Bathroom is really hot. WiFi eventually worked well after they fixed it on the first floor. Bed is good. Bathroom, forgetting the heat, is O.K. and there is plenty of hot water (be careful or you can scald yourself). I will go closer to the river next time. Breakfast is basic, but offers several choices and I think that is O.K. I am glad I had the $35 room as I expect the $25 one would be "compact". It appears that female guess are the norm.

Room Tip: I suspect that the $25 rooms may be really small.

Have spent a short break within hot PP nights. 35 USD/night with BKF, free airport pick up, (drop is charged 9 USD) located where actions are, guest friendly, charming staff. Negative point is that top roof bar is closed

On our 3 day-visit to P.P. we stayed in the popular Flamingos. The rooms are reasonable budget traveler's quality and about 25$ a night with a basic breakfast.
A second time we would go for the riverside, as there are many more options near the river. Some lovely guesthouses for about 30$.
Flamingos is in the middle of a bar area and some of the guests were a real turn-off with their ladies of the night (or day...) This is not very common in most of Cambodia and much less obvious than in Thailand, so we were a bit surprised at first. So it really depends on what you are looking for. Staff was friendly and helpful and arranged bus tickets and tours without any delays or problems. Great roof-terrace for a drink at sunset & Free WIFI.

Room Tip: Upper floors and check it before you buy it!
