The Himawari rooms & apartments are a great option for business travelers to Phnom Penh. The hotel is located within walking distance of the Royal Palace and the touristy quarter where the FCC and many other good restaurants are to be found. It's also located right at the confluence of the Tonle Sap & Mekong rivers, the patio & restaurants look out on the water. The rooms are big, and adequately appointed. While the breakfast buffet is fantastic, the restaurant's other meals are a bit limited and should definitely be modified to include some Cambodian choices on the menu. As a business traveler, one could wish that the Internet access were built into the room rate structure, because the connection fees as of Oct 2005 were VERY high. Finally, tuk-tuk drivers are always available just outside to take you anywhere you want to go (but be sure to negotiate first)!
