The temple is on a hill, you can't miss it because of the 6 headed snake statues all around the base including one which looks like it is made of of wood. You really don't need more than an hour to all round here and if you are not Cambodian you will be charged $1 as a foreigner to walk round! There are a few beggars in the morning as with any place and it is a bit of a walk if you are staying the other side of town.

“Legendary Wat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

Lovely pagoda in the centre of Phnom Penh associated with a charming legend about Lady Penh. The light at sunset was soft and beautiful.

“Typical temple”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

Loved the security guard sitting at the top of a set of stairs who called out and pointed to the sign saying "all foreigners $1" and then expected me to bring the dollar up the stairs to him lest he actually had to move.

“Nothing special”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

there's nothing special about the place, some ornament of the temple also usual, it should be a free temple, but still you have to pay $1 to go upstair of the temple. But its a good view in the evening, you can catch a sunset there.

“Nice”

I enjoyed this temple. I not once had anyone ask for anything and I enjoyed my time in peace and walking the area.
