We have just spent two nights at The Goldiana. Previously we stayed at the Phnom Penh Hotel which was excellent. Goldiana is a lot cheaper, but leaves a lot to be desired. The air con was noisy and the pipe dripped on to the bathroom floor and made a puddle all the time.
The room smelled of smoke even though it was a non-smoking floor.
The breakfast was TERRIBLE!! No toast, no orange juice, scarcity of fruit. No ready made omelettes, and staff who could not have cared less. This is one problem with room rates which include the breakfast. The tea and coffee was like dish water.
The location is good and the swimming pool is good, but there are other hotels
