“Good location near river side”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2012

There are many hotels of this caliber around this area of PP so I tend to try a different one each time I come. When I arrived in town I was a bit tired and when the tuk-tuk driver directed me to this place (after I specified my budget and favoured location) I had a quick look and moved in.

It's not a particularly nice place but it met my needs of being cheap and near the riverside. Room was a windowless box which is ideal for me as I didn't want the sun disturbing my non-standard sleep patterns. The kitchen seemed professionally equipped although I did not eat there and the staff were helpful.

The main drawback for me was no in-room safe. They had some wooden lockers at reception with a motley array of padlocks (who knows who else has a key or knows the combination to my lock?).

Saw $17 rooms advertised on agoda, so managed to bargain for a nice room with 2 small double beds, little window, big bathroom, big room (and then didn't have to pay agoda fees!)
Had great stay, good central location on river, friendly staff, free wifi and computer, good breakfast and Illy coffee. Would definitely stay here again!

We spotted the hotel from the boat as we arrived from Vietnam, managed to shake off the hordes of tuk-tuk drivers at the landing and legged it there, to get the last available balcony room. Probably not the cheapest room in PP but you get an ever-entertaining view of the traffic along Sisowath Quay with a backdrop of the mighty Mekong, and you are in the heart of the city so well worth it for us. Room was fine - comfortable, clean, well-equipped, air-con, fridge etc, maybe the back-of-house areas were a bit cramped and battered but nothing horrendous. Nice staff, very helpful, always managed to find someone with good English, breakfasts limited but always good.

Room Tip: Go for the balcony rooms - the others are mostly windowless.

Great location on this hotel, we got a big family room with balcony with river view. Nothing really to complain about. The hotel is surrounded with great restaurants and nightlife. Will stay again when visiting PP.

We stayed there for 2 nights in late Feb. As others have said, it is pricey for Cambodia ($25 for 2 people), but the omelette with fresh baguette & coffee was good & helped to balance this out.

Our room was roomy & nice, & everything worked as intended. Our bed was great.

The location was great, being able to walk along the river side with a cool evening breeze blowing. The restaurant on the corner was good, as was the bar across the street.

We used the laundry service as well & everything was returned in good shape, although a pair of the wife's underwear showed up in our friend's laundry!

We stayed in a double room with no windows. The room was large with a big shower and toilet. The place was clean and has desk and couch and tea table!
The room had plenty of plugs and the air con was super! The room was cleaned every day and got fresh towels. The breakfast was really tasty and well cooked. The staff were helpful and very pleasant. The location is a stone throw away from plenty of restaurants and attractions! Maybe a little pricey at 25 dollars but still a lovely stay!

This hotel is severely overpriced and horrible! The room was small dingy and smelly, the aircon barely worked and our 'window' open up into the wall of the opposite building. The breakfast, coffee and the service was horrible! My partner and I went shopping on the second night and upon our return the bartender said to me 'dirty girl, handsome man'. She said this right infront of the other staff members. Overall I will never stay in this hotel again!
