Large, and largely empty, room, high ceilings broken flooring and sparse, rather grubby seating give an unwelcoming first impression. Compared with other coffee places in BKK the place is unattractive, the menu is hard to follow and the staff's English is bewildering. Even the Khmer flummoxed my wife. The drink we ordered from the picture didn't look like the photo so we asked what it was. It took us several goes (and a look at the receipt) to understand 'Matcha tea twist', which left us none the wiser. But it was pronounced "chnang" by one of the kids, so that was ok. In fact the food was all "chnang" and the cappuccino was pretty good too, even if in a mug, not a cup. We had an American pancake that surprisingly came with bacon, 2 eggs and a small sausage (and one plate had a grilled tomato too). It cost $2.95. An odd place and we won't hurry back, but worth an occasional visit for a change.
