“Another Great Hotel in Phnom Penh”

A great hotel! Lovely staff - check in was quick and friendly. The rooms were smart and clean and had a lovely shower. The rooms had a tiny balcony but it was enough to stand on. The hotel has 2 swimming pools - one downstairs which was lovely all with loungers and towels and there is a smaller one on the rooftop which is perfect to just lie in with a cocktail.
The rooftop bar is really really nice and the cocktails are great and they have a happy hour which makes them even nicer!
Breakfast was great - with both Western and Asian food to chose from.
All in all a really nice hotel and would definitely stay here again!

I stayed in this hotel for two days. Initially I was booked in the 70's hotel but there was a problem with the room so I was transferred here. The manager was very helpful.

Initially my room was a standard room. However, there was a problem with the toilet (it kept flushing - was weird as if there was someone flushing it at night time and it was freaky). I was not able to sleep well. The following day, I aired my concern with the manager, and I was a bit irritated but the manager, managed to provide a better room - I was transferred to almost the top floor with a good view of the city skyline.

Highly recommended, not because it is the best hotel in the city, but it does have a sense of social responsibility - its profit is used to help community based organisations in cambodia. This is a hotel with a soul.

This hotel is a good option for budget travelers who desire some comfort. It is a bit off the main business end of Phnom Penh in the Tuol Tom Pong area, near the Russian Market. Takes about 25 minutes to get there by taxi. There are a number of Khmer and foreign food restaurants within short walking distance and a 10 minute tuk-tuk ride to the riverside area.

Room are large clean, brightly painted, and tastefully decorated. There is a limited amount of hanging space. A bench across one wall is more than enough to work and spread out gear. Shower and bathroom water pressure is good and hot water works. Rooms in each building are accessed by a single lift and there are 11 floors so sometimes the wait can be a few minutes. Wifi signal is very good in rooms and the lobby.

There is a nice rooftop restaurant and bar area with a splash pool that is perfect for a sundowner or evening meal. The view at night is stunning. The restaurant on the ground floor is where the buffet breakfast is. There is a good range of Asian and Western choices and an egg and noodle station, and fresh fruits.

Staff are friendly and there are lots of them circulating in the lobby so you are never waiting for assistance.

My team held workshops here in three of the meeting rooms and found the meeting package exceptionally good value.

Highly recommended for budget minded business travellers or small meetings but also a good stepping off point for those wanting to explore Cambodia.

A very nice place with a very good, made to order breakfast. They were doing some refurbishing so there was some pounding during the day but no other inconvenience. Water was hot and pressure good in the shower. Very accommodating and pleasant employees. Location is not as good as other areas except for its nearness to the Russian market.

Really nice modern boutique hotel. Excellent swimming pool & rooftop bar. Super friendly & helpful staff.
A little bit out of the centre but in a neighbourhood with good restaurants.
Spa offering massages as well. Some of the rooms are a little rundown and tired but still excellent value at around $35

The Frangipani was a decent place to stay while in Phnom Penh. The hotel's strengths are its friendly staff (I honestly mean this; not a cliche comment), and its convenient location. The room was very basic. It wasn't super clean; but it wasn't super dirty. The shower didn't drain very well at all... but the aircon worked and it was comfortable enough. Breakfast was good- having a fair selection. I liked that it was near the Russian Market and a few other good eating places. (Jars of Clay, Jomo, etc). The pool was small but enjoyable. I can't complain about this place. It's a good value for your money
