Hotel location is not the best. While on Sisowath Quay along the river, it is north of the area with restaurasnts and where most tourists are. It can be walked, but about 15 minutes, The hotel is a just a few blocks away from Wat Phnom. The hotel sounded nice, relatively new. No elevator. My first room was large, furnished in black and red, with safe, refrigerator, desk, extra sitting chair. The bathroom is the typical Asian bathroom in which the whole room becomes the shower. After I checked in I left and returned later in the evening. Fortunately, I turned on the bathroom light before going in and saw a large pool of water on the floor around the toilet that had not been there before. I called and a staff person came; I was informed that happened when the air conditioner was on. I chose to move to another (smaller) room with a dry bathroom. When I got up to go into the bathroom about 1 1/2 hours later, the floor was also flooded almost completely blocking access to get in and ver unsafe. I complained in the AM about this and was told by the man at the desk, possibly the manager, that the owner was aware and refused to fix the problem.
There is a large restaurant on the ground floor, looks like set up for karaoke which is where breakfast is served. Breakfast is basic - egg, toast, coffee - no juice, no fruit included.
I would not stay here again - bad location, unsafe environment and owner who doesn't care, not great breakfast.
Front desk staff however was very nice, went to the bus station to buy me a bus ticket which was really nice. There was a very reasonably priced tuk-tuk driver who was outside and I used a couple of times.
