I go to regular classes at NataRaj Yoga and I like it more and more. The centre is in a great location in central BKK1 (on street 302) and the studio is lovely. There is also a nice big roof terrace where some classes are held - both are light and airy (or as airy as you get in Phnom Penh) with good fans. The teachers are very friendly and make adaptions to anyone who needs changes and there are classes of different levels, plus there are both English and Khmer speaking teachers. I really like this aspect, because it means you are not just in expat world like in so many other provisions in Phnom Penh, but there are a mix of people. They provide all the equipment you need, but you might like to buy your own mat, as people invariably sweat alot in the class! NataRaj yoga also run retreats in Kep throughout the year. And finally, they are a charity which trains and offers opportunities to young people from underprivileged backgrounds to get a more positive future - several of the Khmer instructors came with nothing and now provide international standard teaching. I love NataRaj yoga and would recommend anyone to go - it's not just for longterm residents, but great for people on holiday who want to do some yoga too.
