“I wish i could join a few more days”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2013

due to schedule problem, i could only join nathan for one day that covered the lightroom and a visit to beng mealea.
during the morning session, i learned a lot of lightroom techniques from nathan. the trip to beng mealea was a special one as we could avoid the crowd by getting there at 4,5pm also we were able to climb in some areas whlie most people would not know
on the way back to the city, we were able to stop by somewhere for sunset as well as having the local children posed as models

i wish i could join nathan to other places too

“Amazing trip. It's more than photography.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2013 via mobile

If you want to see more than the obvious sights book a tour with Nathan. I was a "tag-along" to the tour he offers in Phomn Penh (Silk Island and Floating Village) and fully enjoyed the tour. Nathan shows you the real Cambodia, gets you to see places you would not see otherwise. We've been to small villages, ate at local restaurants, hopped into a tiny boat and got peddeled around the floating village, went to see the sunset at a pagoda on top of a hill, saw a Chinese New Year celebration at a monestary and so much more.

This has been our second tour with Nathan. Our first one was the Angkor Wat and temple tour in Siem Reap. Also highly recommended. We are considering doing more tours with him. He will do a tour through Mynamar and we are strongly considering it.

It was an amazing experience and I can highly recommend his tours. And don't think twice if your are a "tag-along" or only have a point-and-shot camera you will not be disappointed and will remember your experiences for a long time.

“Amazing experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013 via mobile

This course is the best. Nathan takes you to the most interesting, out of the usual path, spots in Phnom Penh, and gets you on your feet to take the best photos in your life, while having a great time at the same time.
Asolutely reccomended, amazing experience in all possible ways.

“Besides photography...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2012

Many positive things have been said about the photography aspect of Nathan's tours. I. Can't really add more the but beyond that rest assured that Nathan is an individual who will be preoccupied with your safety, security and comfort. How much is that worth in an unfamiliar place?

“Fantastic tour - highly recommended”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

I recently returned from Nathan's 13 day extended tour of Cambodia which included two individual day tour photography workshops in Phnom Penh with accompanying afternoon excursions (Silk Island and the floating villages on Tonle Sap lake were fantastic for photos ). It also included a four day tour of Angkor Wat with a morning post-production workshop. Nathan's tours are "hop on, hop off" so you can attend for just a day or for a whole extended trip with various rural excursions.

Nathan is a great guide and teacher and provided help not only with composition and lighting tips but also with editing photos in Lightroom. The fact that Nathan can speak Khmer and has built up relationships with people he has met over the years made for great "people" shots that I would never have achieved without the tour. Nathan ensures that you get to the right place at the best time for photographing a particular scene (4am with a tripod for sunrise at Angkor Wat for example) but then encourages you to use the opportunity creatively, capturing pictures in line with your individual style.

This was a great trip where I met some fantastic people with a shared interest in photography. I would highly recommend it to anyone keen to see Phnom Penh and further afield in Cambodia through a lens with the guidance of a professional photographer.
