“Great place to stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2011

Good location, large comfortable rooms, swimming pool great to have in a city, price a little higher than others in area but probably worth it, would recommend.

Located only a few minutes walk away from the Royal Palace and riverfront, but suprisingly quiet and relaxing! The use of a clean pool also helped!

All the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the Manager speaks very good english and made sure we had a comfortable stay. We had a number of questions before we arrived in Cambodia, and these were all answered very efficiently via email.

Free Wifi and free use of fast internet, including the use of a 'comunal' ipad! The rooms are clean and comfortable and recently decorated.

Fantastic boutique hotel, great location with friendly staff!

Lovely rooms and huge fabulous bathrooms all modern and redone. Staff were lovely and helpful at all times. Super breakfast each day and a great pool for cooling off at the end of a busy day or lounging by all day long. Only downside was inconsiderate people playing ball in it. A great sports bar round the corner called the gym, showing all manor of sports. Serves great beer and bar snacks. Thanks for looking after us.

I stayed here for only 1 night to catch flight back to Bangkok. The place is in a short walking to Royal Palace, Museum and paragon shopping mall (very small department store).

The room is quite clean, the staff is quite helpful to find me a Tuk Tuk and Taxi, although the price is a little bit higher than what I am expected. (they charged me for half day Tuk Tuk $15 to go out of the city and I paid $15 for taxi transfer to the airport which i have learnt from my friend that it should be $7-10). But this is not a matter.

We stayed in the best room of the hotel for a week. The room is of a good size, with a very large balcony, a reasonable en-suite with shower, toilet and wash basin. A nice pool and bar area and the location is fantastic - just around the corner of the royal palace. And at a reasonable rate = al;so supporting a worthy cause.
The building works at the other side of the road created a lot of noise during the day and the music of its own bar was very annoying during the evening.
The restaurant has a limited menu, with only a few non meat dishes. The quality of the food was poor - amazing in a city like Phnom Penh with so many fantastic restaurants. Breakfast was very basic indeed.
The staff was not very attentive - forgot to pick us up from the airport as agreed, could not give advice on local tourist trips, was grumpy, especially in the morning, and was not always available - turned up at the hotel to do breakfast at 7.15 when breakfast should have been served as from 6.
Combined with a for us uncomfortably hard bed and a serious mosquito problem, we did not really enjoy our stay.

This small hotel is in an excellent location and a 5 minutes walk to the riverfront. Very safe area to walk in the nights as it is close to the Palace and the streets have 24 hour police prescence. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The Manager speaks very good english and in on hand to help you in your comfortable stay. Free Wifi and free use of fast internet. the rooms are clean and comfortable. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay and this hotel.
