“Something a bit different and kid friendly”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2013

Saravan offers an almost cafe style atmosphere with friendly staff and a menu that might be a bit bigger then the kitchen, there was a couple of dishes that we ordered that they didn't have but there were ample other choices to make.
The decore is unusual but fun and entertaining, its good to see that some still think outside the box. Probably not a must do activity in Phnom penh but if you are passing by and feeling a bit peckish then you won't go wrong by visiting Saravan.

“Terrible”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2013

Second time we went. First time was excellent. But the second time it was just terrible. The curries and rice were cold and oily. Very dissappoited with the service the drinks took a very long time to come and when we asked for them the waiter just walked away.
DON'T GO THERE!!!

“Friendly staff serving great Khmer food.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2012

This is about the 5th time I've eaten at Saravan, but this time I've noticed that the food quality has risen in leaps & bounds. I took 14 friends here last night, recommending the Khmer specialities & every dish that came out was amazing! The flavours just blew everyone away. Don't miss the fish amok, prahok or a Khmer curry. Yummo! Oh yeah, it's cheap, too.

“Poor service- especially If you're Asian”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2012 via mobile

Don't bother coming here if you're Asian. They sure make you feel like a second class citizen by serving the 2 'white' tables who came after you and then telling you the dish is sold out. Food is average only. Money and time better spend elsewhere
