Met an italian who overstayed in Phnom Penh and since it was our first visit to Phnom Penh and desperate for good food, he recommended the Titanic Restaurant along the riverside. Strange name for a restaurant especially given that we were in Cambodia and miles away from the nearest sea! However, the advice was deserved. What a great place to dine. Right on the river, great food, great beer, service and wonderful traditional classical Khmer dancers. It was beautiful introduction to a city we had always wanted to visit. It was a touch on the pricey side but worth the visit. Service was impeccable and the food lovely. A really, really enjoyable night especially as we had the table right opposite the small stage as the dancers gracefully wove their way through a traditional dance.
You may only do it once but you wont regret it! Location...location...location...!!!
Might sound ridiculous, but the toilets were worth a visit. They had to be seen to be believed!
