I ended up eating at Khmer Surin a few times as I was staying in the guesthouse. The location is great, and they've worked hard to create a little oasis retreat from the bustling city. It is gorgeous. The staff are nice and attentive. The drinks are good. The food on the other hand is not so great. It's not bad, but you can definitely find much better food for much cheaper. My favorite item that I tried was the fresh spring rolls. My least favorite was the beef lok lak. I probably won't be returning to the restaurant now that I've moved out of the guesthouse.
