“A Different View of Phnom Penh”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 12, 2013

We opted for a sunset tour because Cambodia has amazing sunsets. We had a local guide and his two colleagues were there with the six of us throughout the whole adventure to ensure our safety. The route we took (through the rice fields and several villages) was beautiful as we got to experience an evening of riding in the rural area of Phnom Penh. The guide helped us to interact with the locals whenever we stop to rest or to hand out treats to the children. We took longer than expected to reach the designated field to watch the sun set, so our guides brought us to a clearing with an equally magnificent view so that we won't miss the sunset. They also provided us with coconut water to keep us hydrated, and shared their knowledge of the area with us.

We returned with muddy feet since it rained before our adventure began and the village roads were all muddy.Fortunately, there are water tanks and restrooms for us to wash up before they send us back to our hotel in tuktuks. It is truly thoughtful of them.

*they provide two-way transport from our hotel to the venue, and also offered to store our larger bags for us while we were on the trail.

“An amazing day!,”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2013

Just had a full day tour with blazing tours! What a surreal experience! From the initial phone call to the hotel drop off this company really know what they are doing!

I think the highlight of the tour was the village children running up to the bikes ! Both the tour guide and the mechanic were great!, my only disappointment is that I was not prepared with treats for the kids!

Hakka spelling..?) was amazing! His knowledge of the local area is great and the information he shares is very interesting. I am so glad I have chosen this company - it was a surreal way to spend the day!

The weathe rcould not have more perfect. The lunch on the lake was another highlight...clearly there are many highlights;-)

I would recommend this company - you are well taken care of - they are AMAZING!

“So much fun in rain and mud!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2013

We did the sunset tour with four people total in our group. Our guide was French but had been living in Cambodia for 7 years and his English was great. It was pouring rain when we started our tour but he gave us each ponchos and the choice between standard or automatic transmission ATVs.
It was great fun to take the very muddy roads through villages, splashing through puddles, and hi-fiving all the little kids who run out to greet you. We didn't see any sunset because it was cloudy and rainy, but that was okay.
One of the other girl's ATVs broke down part way through the tour so we had to go ahead and finish and then the guide had to take her a new one so they were waiting in the rain for awhile.
Tip: you may think long pants and closed-toe shoes will help against mosquitoes and the rain but shorts and flip-flops are a better option because your legs get soaked and muddy and your pants and shoes get ruined.
Overall, we had SO much fun.

“We had a great, awesome, fabulous time!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2013

Booked the tour with Blazing Trails after reading their reviews on Tripadvisor and they totally didn't disappoint! Our guide spoke incredible English, was so pleasant and fun, teaching us a lot about the area. The quad bikes were fun, and easy to use. We enjoyed stopping at the villages and saying hello to all the smiling children. It was good to be out of the city amongst the villages. Be prepared to get a bit dirty as we did get spattered with plenty of mud...
AWESOME !!!!!!
