A must stay when you are in Phnom Penh and looking for a centrally located affordable accommodation house. Kambuja Inn is a great find, with very attentive staff, who bend over backwards to meet your requirements and always with a smile. The rooms are large and comfortable and well equipped. They are only to happy to assist with any on going bookings, hire cars ect. A lovely family who are certainly in the right business.

Room Tip: Try and get a room that does not front the road as it can be a bit noisy.

we came across this hotel in phnom penh in early january. many of the hotels we had tried were booked up already (esp those with pools). We readabout this and thought we'd check it out as it was thowing distance from the river and FCC etc. On arrival the staff were very friendly they gave us 2 rooms on the ground floor in an open courtyard. Rooms were huge and had well sized shower rooms. Also they had TV for watching footy! it was literally a 5minute walk to the riverside for bars/restaurants although there was a busy road to cross. it was on the same street as Romdeng (Friends restaurant). We enjoyed staying here. It was cheap and very clean and comfortable. We didnt eat here (not sure if they did brekkie?). The did our washing and were very helpful in organsing a bus for us to the south coast. Great little find. We stayed here again on our way back from the coast.

Room Tip: No frills, courtyard rooms lovely.

Quite a small hotel in a quiet side road in Phnom Penh. I was in a triple room which was pretty huge. It had two double beds and one single. We had a large tv and a seating area with comfortable chairs and a coffee table. We also had a small balcony. The hotel was reasonably basic but very traditional and very comfortable. It's near to the main sights such as the Grand Palace and the national museum and the staff are extremely welcoming and always happy to help oyu.

We stayed here two nights and had a double and triple room on the first floor - down side was that they were in two different parts of the building and we needed to go down one flight of stairs and then up another to visit each other!!! Our double room was smallish, but comfortable with an older style bathroom and a cute balcony overlooking the interior courtyard. The triple room was HUGE with another cute balcony overlooking the street. Is a quiet street, so noise was not a problem. We had gorgeous timber doors and timber shutters that kept out the light really well. It was really charming and very "french". The only negative was the strange set up of the bathroom - one interior wall was actually a frosted window! As I was sharing with my daughters shower time was rather awkward as the bath/shower was right under the window - oh well at least it was clean.
We actually really enjoyed the breakfast. We had been used to buffet style, but this made a nice change. The bread was to die for, so so fresh and crusty and just yum and was enough for us.
The staff were gracious and charming and I could not fault them.
It is a short walk to the market (which was really good) and probably a 15-20 minute walk to the river and town centre. Tuk tuk from the river to the hotel cost us $2, but my husband is a good haggler!!

I really enjoyed staying in this guesthouse. It is in a quiet street not far from the National Museum. The cheapest rooms I was offered were on the ground floor and not the best quality: a bit damp and there was a small cockroach in the bathroom. For 5 dollars more (USD 25) I got a very nice, big and quiet room on the first floor. High ceilings, big bathroom, a/c and a tiny balcony. I saw no more cockroaches. The staff were helpfull and friendly. Breakfast was ok though a bit expensive.

Breakfast was not a hit, but staff is friendly and seeks to help out. The room was not huge, but clean, bathroom also. I had a quiet room somewhere at the back of the rambling building, but a small privat balcony too, which was nice. Amenities and furniture in good shape. WIFI internet in the reception area, but not in the room.
