My husband and I visited Cambodia in November and the only hotel we booked ahead of time was the Indochine 2. We arrived late at night from the airport and one of the staff members that was sleeping in the lobby let us in and found our reservation. We had our 2 bicycles with us and they very kindly let us store them in a secure back room. We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights before cycling to Battambang. The staff at the adjacent restaurant were all really nice people and we enjoyed our complimentary breakfast there and quite a few ice cold beers and meals. Everything was delicious. After visiting Angor Wat, I made another online request for accomodation and we enjoyed another night at the Indochine. We then cycled to the coast and although we did not stay in Phnom Penh on our return, we were allowed to pack up our bikes and backpacks in their back room and EVERYONE was extremely helpful, providing us with tape and helping to wrap the bikes in plastic. It was very sad to leave such a beautiful country, such a nice hotel and so many wonderful people! Many thanks to all of you!! Janice and Bill
