“Great little hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2009

I have stayed here many times and have invariably found the staff to be friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms are well maintained and cleaned daily. Wifi is now available. Location could hardly be better with the river, places of interest and many eating places within spitting distance.

We only stayed for one night - 31 May 2009 - but all was to our liking. The location is very good (within walking distance from the Royal Palace, lots of restaurants), our room was huge and had A/C, a tv and a fridge. We paid extra for a room with a river view, but this is not neccessary as there is not much of a view! For a cheaper price you might as well book a room at the back of the hotel.
The staff was NOT efficient in answering our emails, which had us a bit worried. We confirmed our reservation twice and asked if they could help us to arrange an airport pick-up, but they did not respond. We arranged our own transport (they offer to do it on their web site), and were relieved when they actually had our reservation and a copy of our email(s) when we booked in, so all was well.

I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past, but NEVER AGAIN. The manager of this hotel is a thief and only interested in getting his had into your pocket. My recommendation, stay away. It used to be a nice place but I guess the owners have now left it in the hands of this low life.

I had booked a family room at the back of the hotel or windowless as I had read about the roadworks out the front. The hotel is also on a very busy road. We were shown to a small room with no window and 2 single beds. Our next chocie was a room at the front with a double bed and we could pay $5 extra per night to have a trundle bed. They informed me they do not have rooms with a double and single bed. We took the shoe box with the double and trundle. The hotel is very average and breakfast is not included. Upon check out I notied a large room at the bak of the hotel with a double and single bed. I omplainedand endeduponly paying $5 not $10 for the extra bed. I am sick of hotels saying they have a family room and then over booking. We now just leave hotels who do this and then write bad reviews about them. They do this to get you there and get your money, so I am afraid they are getting no more ofmine.

We stayed in Phonm Phen a few days and for the price the Cozyna was very good. Some of the rooms are huge all with cable TV, very clean rooms and hot showers. The location is great right next to all the resturants and internet cafes on the river.

I would recommend this place if you want cheaper accommodation with clean rooms and friendly staff who were very helpful.

This hotel is strategically located. There are restaurants nearby and the riverfront is just in front. The royal palace is about 5 minutes walk. The staffs are friendly and the service is good.

The rooms that we stayed in and the hotel itself is very clean. We stayed in a room with 2 single beds. Although its 2 single beds, its big enough for 2 persons to sleep on 1 bed! The bathroom is also very clean. The price is reasonable too. Highly recommended to stay!!

Great little hotel - good value for money too. Paid 18USD for a room with aircon and no window. Having no window really wasnt a problem, we stayed for just one night. hotel was extremely clean and room and bathroom were simple but nicely furnished...everything looked brand new. TV in room with some international channels. Location was perfect, right on Sisowath Quay so along the stretch of hotels, restaurants and bars. No food in hotel but there was a fridge in the room and plenty of places to eat right outside the door. Staff were helpful and booked& collected bus tickets for us. Highly recommended for travels who would like comfort and cleanliness without going over-budget.

  • Liked — Location. Rooms were well furnished, looked new. Aircon v good!!
  • Disliked — No restaurant(although really not a problem given amount of restaurants within 30 seconds walk)
