If there is a better modern take on traditional Cambodian food, I have no idea where it is. The recipes are creative and fragrant, though rooted in a very distinctive culinary tradition; it is beautifully presented and served; and you eat in a good cause. You can see, with your own eyes, that the kitchen is spotless, and can be completely sure that the food will bring you nothing but joy. The menu is long and thoughtful (lest anyone leap to a wrong conclusion, the one tarantula item is surprisingly close to soft shell crab tempura), and there are no duds. A gem of a place.
