“A typical large hotel with casino”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2011

The hotel was large with a huge lobby. Rooms were ok, comfortable, nothing special. Breakfast was also so so. Overall, nothing was memorable about this hotel However, it deserves 3 star for providing lousy massage service. Me and my niece had the same feeling after getting the body massage there. The masseuses were unskilled and unprofessional. They charged for one hour, but gave only 45 min. The quality was so bad that I didn't even complain. I just did not tip them. It was sad, but they really did not deserve tip. Definitely will not recommend for massage.

Visited Phnom Penh for the first time & had a great stay at NagaWorld. Earlier, I was bit apprehensive after going through the reviews about noisy room, service, overcharge, etc..BUT things things were just opposite. Clean & large spacious room facing river front in the east, good house keeping service, Free Internet, Helpful n friendly staffs, lots of engagement within the hotel premises, Casinos..Night Club..Darlin Darlin...Good buffet spread, Cambodian style, only for dare devils.., Musical Hotel Front, Choice of multiple restaurants, Fine Breakfast, Stayed for 7 nights and it was really memorable..Right from Airport transfer to hotel check out..everything was soooo smooth. Convoy of Tuk Tuk, Bike, Taxi to ease out your local travelling...but they only respect Dollars, no interest for local currency. Indian restaurant "Shiva Shakti" at a walking distance from the hotel...to munch on Tandoors...

Overall a "FANTASTIC STAY", will love to come back again n again..NAGA..

Was rather guarded prior arrival to Phnom Penh, but it turns out to be a good trip! The immigration clearance was a breeze and so was the baggage collection.

There are lots of motorbikes on the street, and rather common to see 3 adults on them. And some were not wearing helmets at all. Stayed at Naga World Hotel, it is first foremost a casino, so once you step into the lobby...slots machines!!! The hotel has good facilities, the spa is amazing...the spa rooms sizes are bigger than my hotel room.

There is a good selection of restaurants in the hotel, and the food is good too, especially the Korean restaurant. The only thing I don't like is the number of smokers around the lobby and Casino!

Anyway, I was there for business and was recommended by a friend to hire a car instead of trying to take the taxi. So I did that and was the best decision I made. The driver speaks some English, very friendly and show me around Phnom Penh (I hired him for the whole day)...turns out it is cheaper and more economical than trying to book with the local tour. The car was very clean and the driver (Nov Sarath...www.sarathlimo.com) is very careful man.

Oh...if this is going to be your first trip to Cambodia...prepare US$ bills....they hardly use their own currency. Do visit Cambodia.

Room Tip: I am a light sleeper, so I always prefer room facing away from the main road.

In Naga World hotel its a great place the room is perfectly clean, it has a great flat screen TV with many different channels not only in English and in Cambodian.they have a LAN cable for you if you want to use internet,The hotel truthfully is great but the full thing is not finished yet! though the massage parlor of the hotel is pretty expensive for a bad price so i haven't tried it. They also have a casino there. If i go back to Cambodia i would love to go back to Naga World

Large hotel with lovely large rooms and centrally located, take a TUK TUK to the center 5 min. Too many people for breakfast buffet but this may be caused renovation, breakfast buffet was great, and some noise in the lobby due to the casino, but OK hotel

Stayed two nights at the Naga World with a colleague. Let's just say that if I ever go to Phnom Penh again I'm going to choose another hotel because I think this one is only for serious gamblers.

We got an excellent deal for this hotel and I did love the rooms and the friedly staff. The bed was very comfortable and the room quiet, even though the noise downstairs in the casino was crazy!

I was very dissapointed that there wasn't a pool at this hotel. You can find a spa but in my opinion it's overpriced.

There are many restaurants in this hotel but only tried one - the same one as where breakfast is served. Food was good and tasty there. Breakfast was plentiful and there was quite a bit of variety. Nothing beats the fresh fruits though!

The business center was open only till 5 pm! Which is silly because I would think it would be open in the evening when people are getting back to the hotel and want to check their emails. There was free wifi though, so if you have your laptop with you, there isn't much need for the business center except for printing or such.

Be aware that all taxis and tuk tuk drivers will try to rip you off because they will think that you're rich for staying at a casino hotel!!

There's some restaurants nearby where you can walk and where the price is right.

Do go to Bodia Spa in town to get pampered, a lovely oasis in the hustle and bustle of Phnom Penh.

All in all, the rooms are nice but the location isn't the best and the casino atmosphere did not appeal to me.

The service here is just great. Staff very well trained and eager to be helpful. I guess this is one of the best places to work in Phnom Penh and staff know it!! It can pay to look around for prices as some people on my floor received about half my price on promotions. This is a very large 5 star hotel and keeping it full in a third world country must be difficult? The waitresses in the restaurants were a real treat being friendly, helpful and polishing their English!! The hub-bub outside the hotel is a bit too much! Could be cleaned up a bit? No big deal! The Hotel is undergoing extensions which will include a pool I am told. This will make the Hotel almost perfect for any type of stay. I really missed a pool this time around!. Cons - Internet not connected all the time! Need to keep Tuk-tuk's and private taxi's more orderly outside main entrance.
