Our hotel has a partnership with Amara Spa, including free round trip transfer via tuk tuk, so my husband and I decided to book two 90-minute Khmer massages at Amara Spa (US$18 each).
The massage was good (not the best). I especially enjoyed the back massage as it relieved a lot of tension that had built up over time. They gave us 20% off coupons, so I went back the next day for an Express Manicure and Pedicure - US$8 each for 40-minute treatments. I got the mani and pedi simultaneously and my pedicurist was pretty good. My manicurist unfortunately seemed inexperienced, so the 40-minute 'express' manicure ended up taking an hour and 20 minutes. The quality was ok (not the best) as I had some bubbles under the polish at the end. Given that I've paid more than twice the price for the same quality outside of Cambodia, I was pleased with the overall experience.
I would come back to Amara Spa as I felt the environment, service and overall quality was quite good for the price.
