I have been coming to Phnom Penh for 7 years and this place is still the place to be. Large meals , cold air-con, friendly staff, tasty food and good value.

“A Sweethearts' Delight”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2014

If you plan to come here with your other 1/2 of the orange this is ideal. If you're from the United States then this would feel like home. Fish and chips is good. The pasta is not my favorite. Be sure to try everything, however, because Jars of Clay will always be in foremost part of your mind. The home-like decor and quiet atmosphere make this joint irresistible.

“Simply the best!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2014

This is one of the tastiest meals I've had in Phnom Penh. Also has a great atmosphere. Highly recommended! Only problem is finding it! It took me a few attempts! Well worth seeking out.

Close to Russian Mkt. Excellent safe food. Creative menu. Very comfortable upstairs. Love the shakes, smoothies and chicken mango salad.

“Love Jars of Clay...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2014

There is growing competition now with the flourishing of great places like JOMA, etc., but Jars of Clay is the Phnom Penh original. Major hangout for the church set and faith-based (not only) NGO workers. My family ate breakfast there nearly every Saturday for the better part of 8 years we lived in Phnom Penh. The food is fresh, tasty and top quality, mostly Western with a selection of good Khmer also, great pies and backed goods, the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. I worry a bit about the future with so much competition for this niche of the market - I hope JoC continues to adapt, survive and thrive...
