“Good Location - Friendly Staff - Good Rooms - Good Value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2014

Title basically says it all for this place.

We had a family suite on the 9th Floor which had a great view up and down the River, if you were travelling as a Group, this would be good as heaps of room, each bedroom with its own Bathrooms and Shower and you have a TV, kitchenette. Free WiFI as well.

8th Floor Bar is great for breakfast and must have the best view of the River and Quay Area of all the hotels.

Easy walk to all tourist attractiions and Tuk Tuks always at the door.

Staff helpful and all speaking English

Happily recommend you stay here

Room Tip: Sit at the bar for Sunset, is great. No Pool or Gym if that bothers you however each afternoon an...

Location was superb at the riverside, convenient to food, pub and spa, and the view was great, facing the river. Lobby entrance is not impressive but the rooms were great esp the bathroom. The rooftop bar was cosy , very nice for a glass of beer in a cool windy evening atmosphere .

We were pleasantly surprised when we checked into the Le Grand Hotel. Right on the Mekong River and in the best part of Phnom Penh. The staff at reception were more than hospitable, and you could see that they were well trained and eager to please.

Our room was well apointed and very cozy! Everything operational with loads of water, LCD television, huge bathroom and a well thought out decor and furnishings.

The breakfast on the rooftop were great and the staff really friendly. The room rate was the same as other hotels on the block and offered so much more! We were travelling with some other sesoned travellers who operated a travel magazine and they were equally impressed by the Le Grand Hotel and what they were offering.

The chef was also good as we enjoyed some evening meals and found them very tasty.

The Happy Hour on the roof boasts some of the best views in Phnom Penh, again with great service and a well thought out quality menu.

Loved this hotel!

Room Tip: We organized a late checkout at 5pm and the cost was only an additional $15. The key system is a lit...

This is a new hotel on the river front. The most impressive thing about it is the 8th floor bar and restaurant which has stunning 360 degree views of the city and the rivers. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean and well equipped. Excellent value. I will return.

Wonderful place to stay. The staff is very friendly and the service is impeccable. It's the newest hotel on Phnom Penh 'Croisette on Mekong'. The rooms are very confortable and the ones overlooking the Mekong have a large terrace. On the 8th floor there is an awesome terrace overlooking the river and the city. The view is stunning especially the sunrise at breakfast - the perfect spot to unwind after a day in the city. Don't miss the opportunity to stay in this great and moderately priced establishment.

Room Tip: Definitely choose a room with river view and balcony

It was my first trip in Cambodia. My boyfriend and I were looking for a well located hotel in Phnom Penh with nice facilities and not too expensive.
First of all, the staff was great, speaking good english and gave us useful tourist advice. The room was clean.
After our sightseeing, we used to walk through the Sisowath quay, the Royal Palace and finish the evening at the rooftop bar.
We really liked the rooftop bar, you can choose to have breakfast on the rooftop bar but we found it better to have a drink to see the sunset. The view over the Mekong and the city was just astonishing ! We might come back soon just for the view. That's why I highly recommend this hotel.

We recently went on a trip to Cambodia and had a chance to stay at this great hotel. My friends had previously stayed at this hotel and recommended that we do so as well. The staff and service were friendly and extremely courteous. Location was very convenient as it was pretty close to the market. The breakfast was delicious. The rooftop had a spectacular view at any time of the day and at night they would open up a bar. Will be sure to stay at Le Grand Mekong the next time we visit Cambodia!
