Description: The cuisine of a region is part of its larger culture and an evidence of the preferences that evolve with time due to contacts and historical developments. Being a unique part of the national identity the cuisine also experiences different influences and cannot be restricted by the traditions of one culture or one nation. Probably this is why since Yerevan Pandok came into being we tried to combine the best traditions of Armenian and Caucasian cuisines in our restaurant. Many of the Caucasian dishes have been accepted by Armenians with time and have become an integral part of the Armenian menu. Since the very beginning our mission was to offer our customers dishes that are palatable for our customer from both culinary and cultural perspective, but are also slightly different. This is, though, only part of our comprehensive approach. At Yerevan Pandok we use the highest quality fresh products supplied by our partner farmers and producers. We are extremely consistent in ensuring highest professionalism of and service by our serving staff.I would like to believe that thanks to this approach Pandok Yerevan has become the embodiment of delicious food and a pleasant environment for many of our customers. Quoting one of our customers, “We feel at home here, as this is a place with an easy environment where fresh and tasty food is always in supply”.

“Great quality for money”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2013

Traditional Armenian tavern with from Wednesday till Sunday live Armenian music.
Great to try is the Lamb shoulder, very big and tasty.

But any dish you take is of good quality.

Reserve before you good because mostly the restaurant is full.

Nice atmosphere and staff.

“Surprisingly good”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2013 via mobile

From outside the place looked liked a typical tourists' trap, but it turned out to be a very pleasant experience. It was Friday evening, restaurant was full with local families, including some families with small children. Service was fast and efficient, food was excellent, and bill was very reasonable.

They have started the show in the evening; it was better than could be expected.

“recommended!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2013

I've reserved a hall for a bunch of people for the traditional khash! To my great surprise, they've reserved the VIP hall (w/o any extra payment) and the table was ready when we came in. The khash was very good (the meat was a bit stiff though), served on coals to keep the warmth, the waiter was very attentive to all our needs, the home-made vodka that we took was not bad at all! And they had an excellent compote made of black currant! I was surprised to see the common hall full of eating people at 11:00am in the morning which proves the place is loved! Will definitely go there again either for khash or to try other dishes from the menu.

Everything was excellent, I have no words to describe. The music was amazing! A great choice to taste traditional food in a traditionally styled place. Love you Tavern Yerevan, and thanks a lot.

“Authentic Armenian !!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2012

This Place was offered by a friend of ours who lives in Yerevan for a while, cannot say how happy we were that we visited twice during our stay ! Food was great ! served fresh and hot ! we tried to order a variety of what was on the menu and everything was just great ! the place is decorated in style and very clean staff were very friendly but hardly speak any English ( which was a bit hard at first !) we tried pork, Beef stroganoff their legendary Borsh , salads and a selection of wine from their cellar and everything was at its best + the prices were very reasonable and somehow cheap ! so try it AT LEAST once ! two thumbs up !!
