“Inexpensive, well located”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2013

One block back from the beach
Close to many restaurants
Over the road from the night market
Inexpensive ($30) , clean,
Fair elevator time
Small room
Very basic bathroom amenities (toilet paper, soap)
Clean towels ,sheets
Construction nearby - start early and finish late
Makes it very noisy
I would expect it is the same throughout most of nha trang

Ok so let me start by saying i rarely leave bad reviews and not the kind of person to be irritated or picky abiut these things but I was pretty shocked by this hotel to the point where I think it fair to warn others who like us get duped by the good reviews here. Firstly the positives, its cheap if you book through a booking agent, location is good, rooms are clean and decent. Where it all went wrong was the security guy had no issues selling a room to a drunk australian guy who ordered a prostitute (loadly, the walls are very thin and we could hear every word and dare I say more). The security guy knew she was there and despite this being against the law in vietnam to allow rooms to be shared with foreigners and vietnemese locals (unless married) he turned a blind eye. I wouldnt normally care but it kept us awake for hours and was truly disguising, we had to wear ear plugs. When we told reception in the morning she was apologetic but clearly didnt care and blamed this on drunks coming into the hotel, sure, drunks come by, but if your security guard is letting them in (he delivered them both a towel which we heard again loudly to the room and knew exactly what was happening) then its a poor excuse. They didnt offer us any money back and bizzarely the receptionists suggestion was to go and stay somewhere nicer, so we did! Oh and if that didnt put you off, the staff never say hello to you when you walk in and the cleaners shout loadly in the morning outside your room at about 7am. If you want to gamble a prostitute free stay then go for it, I woudnt personally take the risk again.

We stayed here for seven nights in early April. It is well located close to the beach and the restaurants and nightlife in Nha Trang. It has a small pool on the ninth floor which was clean and good for a dip to cool off. Staff are generally efficient and helpful. We had a deluxe Seaview room which had a beautiful view over Nha Trang bay. Unfortunately construction has just started a new hotel across the road which will eventually block out this view. The construction noise continued into the night so if you are a light sleeper it would be best to avoid the forward facing rooms. Overall good value for money. Stop think is

Room Tip: Avoid the front facing rooms if you are a light sleeper.

This hotel is just a few (2-3) min walk from the beach, which is where you want to be at in Nha Trang I guess!! We stayed a total of 5 nights and arrived in very early on our first day (apx 8am). We didnt think that a room would be ready but they had two available for us!! Staff were not as friendly as we had met in our hotels but pleasant none the less. They organised a snorkelling tour for us and also our easy-rider trip to dalat and Muine. We had something quick to eat in their restaurant, it was just a sandwich and it was fine. Room was ok, bathroom was a wet-room which was a bit inconvienent at time, esp when the floor would not drain off for hours!!! All in all we had a nice stay, with a handy location and clean rooms.

Stayed for 7 nights. We had a large double $35 room on 9th floor everything worked. Valuables were normally locked in cases but on the odd occasion when stuff was left out it was there when we got back. Breakfast was good and cheap. Plenty of PC,s in lobby and good wifi on all floors. The reception staff were good with probably the best command of English we came across in Vietnam. Money change and airport taxi prices were competitive without the usual haggle. Laundry service was good. Pool is not that big but ok and clean

My family found the Nice Swan by a moto driver telling us about it. For $47 a night (negotiated) my family of four (two teens) stayed in a large family room o the 6th floor. The pool is small but adequate on the 9th floor. Hong at the front desk was exceptional, her service was honest and really helpful. She arranged taxis and a driver for us. Even when we advised another taxi quoted a lower price she matched it.
The Nice Swan is a newer development so the room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was very cheap and we ate here most mornings. The hotel is a block from the Beach and the night market is across the road. Overall we had a positive experience.

We stayed in this hotel for 1 night. We didn't like Na Trang, but this hotel was actually quit good value. We payed $12 for a clean room. Everything okay, except a cold shower in the morning. Just that day the hot water was broken. Unlucky ;). But the price was ok and the location to. You can use computers for internet downstairs.
