“Very nice place in Nha Trang, Awesome service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 13, 2011

Very nice hotel well located in Nha Trang. It is clean, they proposed awesome croissant, pain au chocolat and ice cream for a very reasonable price. The hotel is cheap and the rooms are pretty well decorated (very rare in VN) and very clean
But the main strength of this place is definitively the service which is really good. Receptionists and Hotel Manager are very kind & helpful. They helped us to book a bus ticket before we checked in and advanced the money for us...
Definitively a hotel to go in Nha Trang

Ha Van is perfectly located very close to the beach and all the restaurants, but not on a main street so the traffic noise is limited and nearly zero at night. Single rooms are small with basic furniture, very clean, wifi is fast and there is a safe box. Go for the 3rd floor and avoid the rooms with double windows, or spend a bit more for the balcony room with the big TV screen. Bathroom is “underwater” after a shower, the norm in Vietnam, with plenty of very hot water. The breakfast on the rooftop bar is very good, you can choose from the usual American variety and the healthy ones, yoghurt with fruits, with Vietnam coffee and fresh bread. Staff is always very nice and friendly and USD are exchanged at the correct bank value.

Great location (5 min walk to Sailing Club - check it out), clean (and in our case sizable rooms for the cost), great rooftop bar and restaurant and wi fi access throughout does not do justice to the level of service and quality that comes with this place. Flights booked on short notice (during CNY), reminders aplenty, tips on what's happening in and around town, all tours sorted and taken care of (with only one bill to pay at the end), great food and beer for the price .. as an avid backpacker who stays in his fair share of 5 star hotels with work, this place was a welcome change of scenery. Don't look anywhere else!

Found on trip advisor and cross referenced in Lonely Planet. Fantastic service. By email, we booked AND they booked our bus tickets in advance on to Hoi An and Hue, which was extremely helpful.

$26.00 got us a very spacious room with fridge, safe, TV with English channels and a typical bathroom (shower water EVERYwhere). Breakfast was very plentiful...lots of fresh fruit, warm bread and choice of several options..we picked omlettes that came with delicious home fries and bacon. Yum, yum and enjoyed on the 5th floor rooftop restaurant and bar area.

Elevator
Free Internet - both computers and WIFI.
They provide lots of information for what to do in the town...if it is not sunny. Otherwise, head for the gorgeous beach.

Oh, and on arrival, they present you with a drink coupon for beer, wine, juice or coffee. How nice.
And...they have an ice-cream bar at reception...delicious.
Book and magazine exchange area.

Highly recommended.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and our room was large and clean. They even let us have a room to shower in on our final day, hours after we'd checked out, which was a real bonus.

Stayed there for 3 nights. Great location. Big rooms and spotlessly clean. Very friendly staff. For $26 a night with breakfast for high season is a great deal. Only downside is I would not recommend staying on the 4th floor as it is directly underneath the rooftop kitchen/breakfast area and gets quite noisy from 6.30am. Would not hesitate to stay there again and would take a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor. Easy to see why this hotel is so highly rated. I have stayed at Ana Mandara, Sunrise, Asia etc. but this hotel is far better value for money.

We stayed 2 nights ($26 per night standard room). It was pretty basic room but tidy. Great location. Breakfast excellent and roof top bar great place to chill and have a drink. 3 computers also avail for use (wifi in room). Bit noisy at night but I think that is most places in Vietnam and location. Room not cleaned each day (or not for us anyway - unless it was just missed), bit musty smell and smoky in corridors. Water was only luke-warm to cold each time we went to shower, probably OK if hot but not in January. We spent rest of time in a three star hotel close by. Cost $13 more per night, but for the price difference the quality is significantly higher! We have found that in other towns we have stayed in. Overall OK hotel for the price and would recommend if this was your budget limit. Staff very nice and friendly.

Hi dear travellers,
Just a quick note that we have repaired our hot water tanks (a contact was broken) and that our hot water is back on track.
Also, january is always a busy month and there is some chance that the hotel was/is a bit noisy (like most hotels in Nha Trang). That said, we always trying to mitigate noise the best we can (noise is also our ennemy!)
The Ha Van Hotel as just celebrate the arrival of our 100 000 guests (yes, yes 100 000 in 3 years). Thanks to Madame Guerard, we hope that your surprise diner was very good! We had a great time!
We welcome all inquiries you, travellers to vietnam, may have about our hotel or about the thing to do in Nha Trang.
Happy new year, this Tet holiday will be huge!
